Pinkie Pie and all the background ponies everyone seem to LOVE. 'Cept the overly muscular pegasus. He's awesome.
Agreed, he is brilliant. I'd like to think his tiny wings are a clever reference to a side affect of steroids.
Worst pony? Celestia, by a mile. Instead of using the Elements to remove Nightmare Moon's dark powers, like the Mane Six did, she chose instead to send her own sister to the moon for one thousand years. If Twilight and her friends, who had zero experience using the Elements, could figure out a way to save Luna, doesn't it make sense that Celestia, who had already used them against Discord, could have done the same? Also, yeah, Snowflake is awesome. Or is it Roid Rage? Or Horsepower? Seriously, does he have a canon name?
I don't really have one that I dislike, they're all special to me. I guess I could say that the one I like the least used to be Rarity, but not anymore after that episode where Spike declares her love to her and which didn't make me cry at all coz I'm a tough brony and though bronies don't cry coz then they wouldn't be though, or maybe they would but peepol would not see them as though anymore which would be sad and it would make me cry, only it wouldn't because as I've previously stated (gasps for breath) I'm a though brony.
The babies. I hope I don't offend anyone when I say that I think babies in general are just gross and repulsive little boogers
HOW COULD YOU HATE PINKIE PIE, YOU PUNK? DO YOU HATE FUN? ;-; But yeah, I like all the main ponies for various reasons. I can't think of one I absolutely hate. Though snips and snails are quite annoying. ^And also, yes, the babies.
Personally it's a fight between Twilight and Shining Armour. (That's right, I spelt armour differently, deal with it). The Sparkle family in general is kinda pissy for me in it's own way.
Ok...? I will? lol I used to not like twilight that much when I first watched FIM. I thought she was rather too bossy. My fellow bronies were in shock. But she grew on me eventually and I even started to look forward to the twilight episodes. She's awesome in her own way. c: I never had any complaints about Shining Armor really. He always seemed like a good character.
My least favorite pony? Brace yourselves... Rainbow Dash. I have seen her as self-serving, arrogant, and amongst the least likely to contribute to the group. Also, I would like and relate to Fluttershy a lot if it weren't for one thing...the animals. They seem to diminish a portion of her as a character. Is almost like she could live and thrive entirely with her animal community and not even bother getting in contact with the other ponies.
It happens to be Twilight actually- prior to her...ascendence. I relate to her in some ways and I missed being her in the Pony Personality Test by one question (ended up being Fluttershy). I also would like Pinkie Pie more if it weren't for A Friend in Deed... Meh, it's complicated.
Reading through this thread, I find it interesting that each character can be made to sound horrible in a way. I guess it's how much we choose to ignore that helps define our favorites from our least favorites. The way I see it, there's always a negative side to a positive attitude. Rainbow Dash: She's very confident in herself. Cockiness is just a negative part of being confident. It comes with the package. Pinkie Pie: I love her wild and extraordinarily happy behavior. She can be annoying at times, perhaps if you have a headache or just want to relax...or think. Being annoying to others is part of being highly energetic, among other things. I could go on, but I'll stop. Don't want to make an ass of myself, pretending to be smart and all.
My least favourite is definitely Applejack. It's the accent, it gives me a major headache. She also just seems incredibly bland and generic. She needs to be fleshed out.
