"Brisk won't let you go, and deep down, neither can I. But I honestly liked you more before all of this wolf business went down. But I'm afraid I might kill you with the splitting spell...so you're going to have to try to control yourself. I'm sorry for burning you...do you want me to heal it?" Bolt asked Leaf.
Bolt chuckled. "Because I know that you're hiding how bad it stings...I was a kid once...I've burnt myself before." He paused, thinking of when he recklessly burnt Brisk. "Look, I'm not one to judge you, but I'm responsible for what you do. You may be the Alpha, but when the sun comes up, I'm in charge. And like it or not, I am more powerful than you, and if you went wolf, You'd never be able to get me. The fact that I have wings puts me strategically over you. I don't like it. So I'm going to ask you this...can I trust you with wings?" Bolt asked, getting serious.
"Okay...this is going to sound insane, but I read that when a Timberwolf dies, their partner can slay the alpha of another pack...and when the alpha is slain, the spirit may choose to come back. I don't know if you want to do it Leaf...but I think Brisk would be happier knowing that you won't be sucked into the Void if a magic burst happens." Bolt explained to Narrowleaf. "I was holding back because I didn't want the crowd to hear me." Bolt said. He turned to see a petrified pegasus. "Flitter...he heard me. What do I do?" Bolt asked Flitter.
Flitter blinked, and walked over to the pegasus. She said something to him, and a black shadow leaked into his ear. He began to nod, and the shadows retracted. He walked off dazed. "There we go."
Brisk nodded, and blue light surrounded her once again. She fell on all fours, and sniffed the air. She howled, and sprinted into the forest.
Bolt offered help. "Brisk. You scout a pack, I'll come with you and I will make sure that you have a fair fight. Because the rest of the pack will be burned if they interfere." He said, struggling to keep up.
Flitter flew along, following. Soon, Brisk came to a pack. The alpha growled, and barked. She barked in return, explaining. He bared his teeth, and lunged. She swept out of the way, and turned to bite him on the neck, but he slashed her across the face. She fell back a little, a yelp in her throat. She stood up again, fierce, and lunged, quick as a whip. She struck home, and knocked him over. He growled again, and bit her paw.
"Narrowleaf...If you see Brisk beginning to lose, say "The red one is our alpha" in wolf, and I'll transform and wreck whatever type of wolf faces me. I don't care who it is, I won't lose any more friends." Bolt pleaded to Leaf.
Brisk lunged once more, teeth tearing through his side. The alpha howled and snarled. He returned with a nasty bite to her face, which she yelped. She came once more, and bit his neck, and tore his head off.
