"Hey! Get off!" Bolt ordered. He transmitted himself into the middle of the swarm, shot a large blast of fire forward, grabbed the box, and warped out of Flitter's head. He gave the box to a guard. "Safe. Now. You four, in here with me!" He commanded. Bolt stood, ready for a swarm to come out, with two unicorn guards and two pegasus guards.
Flitter yelped as he came out. Then she stood up. She ran to Bolt, terror on her face. "Bolt! You have to get out of here! Please!" Brisk yelped at the same time Flitter did. She held Narrow gently, helping him up. "I love you, but I have to send you away. I'll explain soon. Just, be careful." With that, she kissed his forehead, and teleported him to Bolt. "Please! You have to leave, now!" screamed Flitter.
"But...Flitter...will I see you again?!?" Bolt asked. "If the answer is no, then I'd rather die with glory than live with shame. Leaf. Take the box in my safe and run. Here's the key. Go far away. I'll be meeting with you as soon as I settle things with Flitter." He said staunchly, blasting leaf with a Clairvoyance spell.
"You will see me, love. But don't take the box. Run. Narrow needs you. Run, run.." With a scream, her eyes fell back into her eye sockets, and she shambled forward. "Box.. Box.. Box.."
Bolt hugged and kissed Flitter, picked up Leaf, and flew. "We're going to Brisk's house. I'll take care of you there. I swear...if they're not here when we come back, everything in this world will have hell to pay." He promised Leaf.
Bolt burst back into the palace. "Flitter?!? Flitter??? Where are you?" He said, openly letting the fear in his voice out.
(TIMEWARP) The castle was quiet. Strangely so. There was only the sound of a few hoofsteps, clattering unsteadily down the halls, but at a quick pace..
Bolt spun around. "Flitter? Is that you? Where are you?" He asked frantically, now assuming defense position.
A guard ran out into the opening. The two recognized him. Batwing. "Your highness! Narrow! Thank Luna you two are here. They've... something's wrong. Princess Flitter and Lady Brisk... they've been trying to fight it. But... they can't"
