She laughed. "But what if I am?" she asked, horn glowing. The ground rumbled, and pools of water began to appear. Her horn began to pulse with a blue light. Suddenly, a sprout of water came.
Bolt's eyes widened. "Are you bucking serious? FLITTER!" Bolt yelled, ramming into Brisk to stop the water. "I'm gonna fry you in a few seconds, Brisk."
Behind him, Flitter was laughing really hard. "I. Don't. CARE!" she screamed, and a blast of water as strong a fire hose burst.
The shadow came, closer, closer, teasing. "How's it going, Bolt?" she called, keeping her eyes on Narrow, still shaking with laughter.
Bolt got out of the water and shot a wall of fire at Brisk. "You idiot!" He roared, fire turning blue. "If you want to wake up tomorrow, you'll stop now. You can't put me out when I'm like this." Bolt said.
She winked, and the blue light surrounded her again, and Flitter appeared, facing the ongoing fire with a look of fear. Flitter nodded. "Good one. Truce?"
"Fine. We're even. Watermelon is not the same as my bucking wife. It was just a stupid joke. As for you, don't eat the shadows. Those are personal thoughts. I'll buck you up, Leaf. You know I can and will. I've done it before. Come on, Flitter...let's go to the graveyard. I want to talk to Black Star." Bolt said, fuming.
Flitter followed him. "Are you ok?" she said, lightly touching his shoulder. Brisk dived after him, and caught him, landing and returning to herself. "Narrow! Are you hurt?"
She growled, and sent a telepathic letter to Flitter. "I'm going to kill you." She lifted him, and ran towards Sweet Apple Acres.
