"Daddy, who's that?" Star asked softly. "That's your uncle Leaf. He's not a real leaf though, so don't eat him. He probably wouldn't like that." Bolt replied. Star giggled. "Okay daddy!" She replied, reaching her legs out to Leaf. "She wants you to hold her...aww" Bolt said, a smile plastered on his face.
Narrowleaf took a step back. "N-No... I'm good." He replied. - - Auto Merge - - Narrowleaf took a step back. "N-No... I'm good." He replied.
A tear dripped down Star's face. "Flitter...hold Star. I'm gonna go and talk to Leaf." Bolt said through his teeth. "No! Don't hurt him!" Star shrieked. "Okay, fine. I'm mad at him though." Bolt said.
"Bolt, th-this isn't fair..." Narrowleaf said, clearly in pain. "Y-you're wearing silver..." - - Auto Merge - - "Bolt, th-this isn't fair..." Narrowleaf said, clearly in pain. "Y-you're wearing silver..."
"What the hell is your problem?" Bolt said in a hushed voice, throwing the silver gauntlets away. Instead, his hooves began to seethe with red energy. "I teach your kid how to fly, and you won't even hold mine?" He asked, growing angrier.
Willow buried her head into Brisk's shoulder. "Bolt, please! Not only are you scaring our child, your scaring your own!"
Bolt exhaled, the energy signature fading. "Answer...me....Narrow...Leaf." Bolt said, calmly as he could.
"...Because I'd rather not have my hooves burnt off... Do you have any idea what silver does to us?" He asked, gesturing to Brisk and Willow.
"I meant what's so wrong with holding my daughter, wise one." Bolt spat sarcastically, a particularly un-amused look on his face
"I just told you. You were wearing silver, which would have burned me, and if you burned me, I would drop you child." Narrowleaf said in return.
"Well the silver is gone. I don't even like silver. It's a second-rank metal. Platinum is the way to go. I'll make sure no silver is allowed in my home from now on. My, uh, bad." Bolt said, shying away from Brisk and Leaf. His mane went way down over his eyes. "I can't se-" He said, running into a tree. Star giggled rampantly. "Daddy got beat up by a tree!" She said to Flitter.
"I think you should hang out with mommy while daddy kicks this tree..." Bolt said to Star. "Mommy, can Daddy beat up that tree?" She asked curiously.
