Brisk walked out of the forest. She looked around uncertainly. She appeared to be glowing, yet, the mare that came out of the forest was a great deal wiser, and an ocean sadder than the one that went in. She didn't seem as tired as she was during the battle with Chrysalis. She took a step hesitantly towards the fire palace. A tear leaked down her face, but she wiped it away. She shook her head. "It has to be done. For both of their sakes." she told herself sternly. She took another step, and another. She sighed, and began to walk, trembling. "I'm the daughter of Rarity. I was born with the willpower to compose myself at a moment's notice." she said aloud. Her voice was stronger, not as scared. (I'm back! Jesus. You guys post quickly, dontcha? XD)
Narrowleaf decided the only way he could escape is if he found Brisk. "B-Brisk? Brisk where are you??" He whispered. Narrowleaf saw Brisk walk into the palace of fire. "Dammit!! Brisk... he's a monster."
"Brisk!" Narrowleaf called. "You need to run... B-Bolt's become a m-monster. I... Here, take this... I..." He handed her the bloodied box. "It's an emerald, I think."
After a moment, Brisk gently placed the emerald into her saddlebag, and her eyes were filled with curiosity. "A monster? What do you mean?"
"H-He has her cutie mark... Celestia's. An' he just ripped right off her corpse." Narrowleaf said. "And he locked down Ponyville." He looked his hoof, the one with the glass shards stuck in it. "Damn... Why... did I leave these in...?"
"I-I'm sorry... I was going insane... I just had to prove..." Narrowleaf hung his head in shame. "That... I-I... I..." Narrowleaf paused, then said, "Oh... I can't even talk..."
Bolt flew over. "You...bastard. Do you have any idea what you've done? Because we have history, I'm not going to kill you. I'm going to put you in the arena with Lightning Dust. She's weak. You're going to kill her, and when you do, we can forget this. But as for now, you can either come with me, or I can have the bolts take you."
"Dammit Bolt!! Get away! Or are you going to show Brisk?!! Show 'er what a monster you've become!" Narrowleaf wasn't going to run, if anything, he was ready to fight.
"You are an idiot. Why don't you just kill Lightning Dust as your sacrifice? Didn't you tell Brisk the whole story? How you were going to sacrifice HER to the demons? Or how you thought maybe I would be a better choice? You're a heretic, and if you don't do what I'm telling you to do, you will die a heretic's death." Bolt said, staring down Narrowleaf.
Brisk closed her eyes. "Stop it!" she finally said. Her eyes opened, and there was a shock of pain in her eyes.
Bolt had Leaf in a levitation spell. "Did you hear what he was going to do? He's a danger to soci-" Bolt stopped. "He-he's just like I used to be..." Bolt said, putting Leaf on the ground. "I'll disable the field...run if you want. I wouldn't be surprised. I mean, seriously. And the reason I took her Cutie Mark is because that's how I prove I earned my royal position by way of combat, just to fill you in, like I would have if you had listened before. I'm still having the feast at the palace...I want you two to eat some substantial food for the first time in forever, so I'll stay away from the table, but I'm begging you, please eat. Do whatever afterwards, but eat." Bolt finished his speech, a look of care in his eyes for both of them.
Brisk's lip trembled. She put her hoof to her forehead, then looked up with an amused expression on her face. "I ask again. How much trouble can you two get into while I leave for a few days?" she said, smiling.
"But I forgive him. We're all stressed out and uneasy. Celestia said something about warriors. Dawn of Charge members are done...what else are we dealing with?" Bolt asked.
Narrowleaf laughed maniacally. "Luna... GET HER OUT OF ME... She's needs me to sacrifice somepony for her. She's inside of me... Driving me insane... Luna says she needs a new host so she rule her Lunar Knights..."
Bolt grabbed Narrowleaf. "WE'RE GONNA GO KILL LIGHTNING DUST NOW! BYE BRISK!!!" Bolt said through his teeth, then threw Leaf on his back and flew towards the palace. When they arrived, Dust was chained up and weak. "Go for it. She's all yours. I can't believe Lun-" Bolt was interrupted by a swirl of stardust flowing from Leaf's mane. "Can't believe Luna would do this to poor little Leaf? Or big, strong Bolt? You're both demons in your own right. Now get me out of this weak pony before I kill him!"
