"Flitter...can we go lay down for a little while?" Bolt asked tiredly. Cress began to make swirling currents in the water, forming a beautiful current that spelled Star's name. "WOW! You're so cool! There's no way you could be related to anypony else but my daddy! Mommy says he makes her pictures out of fire all the time!" Star shouted. "Bolt, you Casanova. Finally used that hot inner energy for something good, huh?" Cress mumbled to herself.
She closed her eyes once more, and her horn began to glow. A tingling sensation appeared on his back, not pain, and wings began to grow.
Flitter looked at him sympathetically. "Sure. Why are you so tired?" she asked, then sent back a few shadows. They intertwined with the water, kindly, making the words light up. (Shadows light up? ) Brisk nodded. "If that's okay."
"I was up talking to Leaf telepathically about our daddy problems, and neither of us fell asleep until really late." Bolt replied groggily. As soon as the two reached the main bedroom, Bolt fell into the bed. He gently pulled Flitter down next to him. "Did you ever reply to my compliments?" He asked, yawning.
(I don't really know how light works...) "C'mon, Brisk!! Please?!" Willow begged. "Yeah! Let's go!" Narrowleaf said.
Wings grew swiftly from her back, and she laughed. Flitter sighed a little. "I get embarrassed easily." she replied.
Narrowleaf began to fly upwards. "C'mon, you two!" He called. "C'mon, ma-" Willow began, stopping. "C-Can I call you that?" She asked.
"Don't. Everypony knows I'm incapable of lying well. I'm being honest with you when I say that stuff." Bolt assured her, placing an arm around her before falling into a light sleep.
Brisk grinned. "You sure can." she said kindly. Flitter smiled thoughtfully, and fell asleep. Her head slumped lightly against his shoulder, and she curled up, slightly.
"Thank you, ma..." Willow said, giving Brisk a hug. "Are you two coming or what?!!" Narrowleaf asked, drifting in the wind.
