"Me? I don't really keep track of those things. Pretty young, for a changeling." she replied. Flitter shrugged. "They just... don't like it."
"Well buck them. Come here." Bolt said warmly, holding out his hoof. "This is one tradition we do better without."
Bolt pulled her into a hug. "Don't act like you didn't know this was what I meant." He said, kissing her head. "I love you."
She laughed, and hugged him. "I love you, too." she replied, muffled because her face was in his shoulder.
"Good. Star, you're only half changeling. Don't let any of this affect you. As you have seen, it isn't really logically possible for either of your parents to die. We're just too strong." Bolt said. "Really, Daddy? Am I too strong to die too?" Star asked in awe "Yes. You are stronger than me. By a long shot." Bolt answered. Star just fell back in awe (My WiFi is down. I will be posting slim to none in the next few days, and I have a research paper due on the 15th. I'm sorry for failing to keep up, but there's been so much going on lately. Just...maybe have Bolt and family be training immensely? Starting very soon, you will see little of me.)
(Sucks to hear that. See you then.) Narrowleaf sighed. "There's a way I could get them to listen to you, Brisk. Obey, even." He stated, looking at the sky. "It's gonna require a lot of magic, though."
