"Fine. Whatever. I guess you guys will never know where the hidden set of Elements are. And you won't be having this for your magic." He said, pulling out the Alicorn amulet.
"I really could care less. Brisk doesn't..." she paused, and sighed, as if she was having a conversation in her head. "What? No." she said. "I won't do that. You are insane." Pause. "Really? Are you kidding me?"
"W-w-where... A-a-am I?" Narrowleaf moaned, "Bolt, Brisk... Ughh..." He struggled to get up. "I-I-I'm s-sorry I put you both trough this. I'm g-going..."
"Am I the only one lost here?" All I remember... Ugh... My head hurts." Narrowleaf paused "I need to... We need to rest, if i'm not the only one who needs to vomit."
Flitter sighed. Her body shrunk, and she slowly returned to Brisk. "We need to get to Narrowleaf. Fast." she said.
Meanwhile, Fire Bolt dashed off with the Alicorn Amulet, though he really had no use for it. "I don't need them..." He thought aloud. He stopped for a moment "But I really want to go back and help them..." He pondered for a moment, then made his decision. "If they want my help, they should know to check the sky, because apparently I'm the only one who has enough sense to clear the clouds in this place!" Bolt flew off, clearing the clouds along the way.
Narrowleaf stumbled across the wasteland for days, unable to think, due to his multiple wounds. His vision was also gone, so he had no clue where he stumbled to. He eventually limped into a unknown settlement, where he collapsed. He sank into the shadows. The same ones who mocked him in his nightmares.
In the morning, Fire Bolt had a change of heart. He hoped that Brisk and Narrowleaf would forgive him. But he thought he saw something. It was a house. Worse, it was surrounded by changelings. "Don't think so..." he said, diving through the changelings. He ran into another princess halfway through the swarm. "Oh man, I'm in for it now." He sighed, to which the princess responded "If you can defeat me alone, my changelings won't destroy this house, its contents, and you. But that won't happen." He smirked, jumping into the sky, preparing the Searing Shot.
As soon as Fire Bolt began his Searing Shot, Narrowleaf woke up in a ruined shop, strapped to a metal table. "The ruined shop from my dreams..." He said. "Why am I here... Where's B-Brisk or Bolt? Damnit!! Brisk!!! Bolt!!" He was shouting now, "Someone!! Help!!" He heard hooves clacking on cracked tile, getting closer. And closer. And the door creaked open...
"You messed with the wrong hot-headed pegasus, princess!" Bolt lashed, just as the Searing Shot hit. The princess flew into the ground, buried up to her torso from the force of the impact. Bolt's mane glowed. He galloped towards the exposed body of the princess, charging for his only ground-based move, the Blaze Tackle. He ran into the princess, who screamed in pain as the burns formed on her body. "You're done. Leave. NOW!" Bolt said, and the princess retreated, her changelings in close pursuit.
Meanwhile, a scarred stallion trotted into the room where Narrowleaf was held. "How do you like the upgrades, Subject 7?" He asked, examining Leaf's eyes. "U-upgrades...? WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME, BASTARD?!! I'll kill you!" Leaf was outraged, yet afraid. "Yes... I fixed your vision. And sew your scars shut." He turned away, "That simple."
At that moment, Bolt heard Narrowleaf's scream. He did a head-charge into the door of the house, ramming it straight down. "Let him go!" Bolt screamed.
Bolt was amazed. "Princess! I never got to say this...but for one, thank you for saving my friend, and for two, I'm so sorry about that incident with Discord...he was trying to take someone important to me." Bolt ran up to Narrowleaf and smiled "You alright buddy?"
"Yeah..." Narrowleaf replied after a cough. "I think the end of Equestria has taken it's toll on me... I'd rather be locked in a cell than stay any longer in this-" He had another coughing fit "-Hole. Little to no food... No water..." "That's why we're going to start a colony-" Celestia interrupted, "- New Equestria..."
"Bolt... Where's Brisk? I haven't seen her... I'm worried. What if she's a Changeling?" Narrowleaf asked Bolt, with a clear expression of fear.
Bolt's eyes widened. "She is! She has to be! She turned into a different pony, remember at the house?!?! If she makes any moves, I'll take care of her. But I think she's at home, let's go check and make sure." Bolt said, trotting along. "Celestia, you should come too...she'll be able to heal all of your injuries." He invited.
"But what if we're wrong? I couldn't deal with an innocent pony's blood on my hooves... Even when everything we knew is gone..." Narrowleaf replied. "We should check, though." "We should find a lookout point. In case bandits, more Dawn of Change members, or Lunar Knights come." Celestia chimed in. "She's right, Bolt. We need protection. We almost died because of a few Changelings..." Leaf replied, scanning the area.
Bolt was puzzled. "I said if she tried to hurt us I'd take her out. I don't just go around attacking ponies." He said Celestia glared at him "Anymore" He added, shying down to bow before Celestia. "Please forgive me, princess. I can't forgive myself for what I did until I know you forgive me."
"W-what exactly did you do, Bolt?" Narrowleaf asked, with a very puzzled expression. "Kill somepony?"
