Flitter turned, and hissed. Her eyes were fierce. "Get away. You'll not hurt her again." she said, viciously. Yet, there was fear in her eyes. She was willing to die for Brisk.
"I'm not. I... just hope you are happy. I was going... going to ask her... I..." Narrowleaf trotted away, looked back and cursed at Flitter.
"You could have killed her!" she screamed after him. "The only reason she didn't die when you ripped her neck open was because I was slightly healthy! Do you think she wants to become that?!"
"I gave her a cure. And if she refused, and accidentally killed her in beast form... you know I'd k-kill myself. I... I... I couldn't deal with th-that..." he responded, tearful and shaking.
She closed her eyes in frustration. However, when she spoke, her voice was softer. "Do you think that it matters? I know you would be devastated. I know." But with that, her voice grew harder. "But she would still be dead."
"I used to respect you... I used to look up to you... turns out that you're a... a... SELFISH BRAT!! You know that I want you guys to stay, so does Bolt, and Brisk..." Narrowleaf called. "I gave her a choice..."
A sharp breath came. "How dare you." she said, turning. "How DARE YOU? Do you think that I want to leave? You almost killed my bucking sister! What would you do, if time, and time again, you watch your own flesh and blood get killed, and realize that the only way to save her, the only way to keep her breathing, is to take her aware from those she loves. What would you do, if that action made the only person you've ever loved despise you? The very bane of your existence? The only reason you want Brisk to stay is because you love her. You don't even seem to care if she dies! And you have the guts, the have the nerve, to call me SELFISH?!" she shouted, tears leaking down her cheeks.
"I don't even care if she dies?!" Narrowleaf took a few steps foward. "I tried to kill myself because she tried to sacrifice herself!! Either come back or let me talk to her, no interuptions." He demanded.
"Or what? What if I just leave? You. You, NarrowLeaf, almost killed Brisk Belle. Do you think I trust you?"
"DO I HAVE TO BUCKING CRUSH YOUR THICK SKULL JUST TO GET MY BUCKING MESSAGE ACROSS?!?!" Narrowleaf roared.
She laughed dryly. "Your message is clear. She hears you. Let me guess. You wish to marry her? Change her into one of you?"
"You don't seem to understand. While we are two different ponies, we are still one. I took the potion."
"Good." Narrowleaf ran at Flitter and bit her, using fangs instead of teeth. "Now. Come back and you get the potion. Leave, and... you get the picture."
She laughed. "We would rather being alone then stuck with someone who harms her and threatens to doom her unless she speaks to him. Goodbye, Narrowleaf." she said. Her wings spread, and she dodged pass him, and flew away.
"You guys will just come back on a full moon! You're part of the Apple Pack now!!" Narrowleaf called. "...and a family that stays together, prowls together..." he said to himself.
Flitter flew to the castle. Smiling, she went into the room where they had first made the potion. She took the bandages, and left.
"Flitter... you say we hurt her, but you're the one hurting her..." Narrowleaf limped back home, tears cleaning the blood dripping from his mouth.
When Narrowleaf got back to Sweet Apple Acres, he found the same dagger Brisk tried to kill herself with. "Perfect. It's made of silver." He said. *I have to find Flitter. I need to talk to Brisk... one last time.* He ran to Brisk's cottage, then followed a small blood trail. He had never run as fast before. Narrowleaf decided it was time to talk, even if he had to give up his own life. To him, Brisk was more important... (I hate cliffhangers. I'm at the edge of my seat. EUGHH...)
Eventually, the blood trail ended. "N-no! And... no scent. Flitter... I was g-going to ask her... Wh-why did you take Brisk away?!" He yelled out, tears stinging. "If you can hear me, I... will give up my life j-just to talk to Brisk. One last time..."
