"I don't remember either. I don't remember anything. Who my parents were, who I was... Nothing..." Narrowleaf replied. He had a tear running down his eye.
Brisk packed uo the first aid, and cleaned the table. She went into the kitchen and took out some food, and began to make a soup.
Bolt walked up to Narrowleaf. "It's okay. You have a family now. And I'm proud to be the closest thing to brothers with you. And I promise you and Brisk will be safe. You're both strong, as am I. And nopony can take that away from us." Just as he finished his sentence, Bolt was trapped in a field of green light and carried away. "NO! NARROWLEAF! PROTECT BRISK! I'M SO SORRY!" Bolt yelled as he was carried away. "No..." He said, and then passed out from the effects of the spell.
"Let me go! You heartless moron! You've taken me away from the only two ponies that matter to me and you don't have a reason! How could you do this?!?!" Bolt yelled. The mare trapping him showed her face. It was Lightning Dust. She laughed, then said "You took my dreams away, you killed my brother, and now I'm going to kill you" Bolt shrunk in fear.
She sat. After a minute, a light dawned her eyes of understanding. "Tell me, what color was the light?"
"Chrysalis." she said. "If she didn't take him, she'll know who did." She got up. "I know she freaks you out, but Flitter will be more help on this one." said Brisk.
"Hey, Dust, why don't you fight me and retain the honor of killing me in combat? I don't have a horn, so you'll kill me for sure. C'mon, or are you too scared of a pegasus?" "Flitter will know." With a whooshing sound, Flitter appeared. "Chrysalis is about 15 minutes from here, if we're lucky." she said immediately. She trotted out the door and began to run.
"Hey dusty, remember two years ago? When you loved me? Well I never loved you back. I always thought you were washed up, and you still are. So let me obliterate you now, and end you." *or at least buy some time for my friends to help me* He thought. GO *restart music* The fight began, and Lightning Dust rammed straight into Bolt, who held his posture. He lit his mane again, charging, then jumped into the sky to hit Dust, who moved. She shocked him with a weather spell. "Ouch" Bolt said. "You found some talent...have you been snooping around in Twilight Sparkle's house or something?" He laughed. She charged.
Cal whispers to himself "Heh best soilder i've ever seen in all my time he knows what to do and he knows how to take care of a sitution without a freakout and he fights like a Don i think he's ready" "how you doing babe don't worry Masq will take care of everything so quit crying i'll be alright".
Bolt dodged, and lit his tail on fire, running past, he spun around, whipping Dust in the face. It left a huge burn mark. He used the opportunity to go for a Blaze Charge, lighting his mane again, as it used less power. He made contact, searing Dust's tail. *Hurry up guys!!!* he thought. "I'm gonna have to step it up to take you out." Bolt said, charging into the shy for the Searing Shot.
Narrowleaf was struggling to follow Flitter, so he stopped. He then bucked, which sent him flying. He repeated this to catch up. "Flitter, are... you... sure... he's... this way?
She stopped, and looked at him. "My apologies." she said, and her horn gave Narrowleaf a bit more power to run. "I know Chrysalis is this way, and Brisk informs me that she is sure that Chrysalis knows. It's good enough for me." she said.
