He shrugged. "Maybe it just comes out when I want to give it to somepony. And I'd like to give it to you. Or Flitter... Y'know, just in case."
She looked at Crimson. "As I said earlier. I'm two ponies, though, my two halves split. We're attempting to seperate me." she said, looking a little melancholy.
"I think... it will take some getting used to." she replied, looking at the soul. Suddenly, a spark of an idea came. Two voices came out of her mouth, one Flitter, the other Brisk. "Oh! That will work!"
Brisk looked at them. "No one must loose their horn!" she said. Her horn glowed, and Flitter joined Brisk. Brisk grimaced a bit, then placed her hoof at her heart. So did Flitter. Their horns glowed, and they both grabbed out their souls.
Crim continued to watch, interested in what would happen next. "This is kinda cool actually... but we should stay focused."
Brisk soul was a small, blue flame, with flecks of gold inside. It was calm, yet there was something... fierce. Flitter's soul was reds, oranges, yellows, and it leapt in dazzling glows. Every once in a while, a sliver of rose would slip through, slowly, sweetly.
Brisk carefully inspected Flitter's soul. However, Flitter was less delicate. She grabbed Brisk's, muttering. A gasp of pain can from Brisk's throat, but she stood. Flitter looked at it, then tore a little piece of it. This time, Brisk whimpered.
Brisk carefully did the same to Flitter's. They each took a small piece of each other's soul, then placed it back into their chest. Flitter looked at the three. "The shock of loosing something like this is substantiated. We may go.. under for a few hours. Just to recover. Then we should be fine. I apologize in advance."
"Okay. I'm just... going... to stick this... little fella..." Narrowleaf grunted, forcing his soul back in.
Brisk looked at him. "Are.. you ok?" she said, saying the words slowly, feeling how they were when she was one. (Night all!)
