"Do anything to keep yourself awake, ok? You stay awake, you got that? Don't you dare even think about leaving me." she said, pressing her horn to the fragment.
The horn began to glow, and she smiled in triumph. She placed the horn over the gash, and pressed her horn against it again. The horn melted into the wound, healing him slowly.
"Brisk... I... Thank you!!" Tears were rolling down Narrow's cheeks. "Y-you saved my life. I am f-forever in your debt." He bowed to Brisk. "What are we going to do, now? We need To save Bolt."
"Hhmmm... I don't remember, maybe? Where could he be...?" Narrowleaf started to pace. I think it was a Pegasus..."
"Probably was a famous evil one seeing as they were by Discord at the time of the attack....." she mused.
"He said something about Luna... If only Celestia wasn't hiding, we could ask her... Maybe if we can find our way to Canterlot, there's probably other ponies!" Narrowleaf looked around, "We could try later. It's pretty dark out..."
"He may be dead, already, though." said Brisk, her thoughts whirring. She thought a mixture between a vision and her own mind.... Pegasus... Bad.. Well Known... Golden Mane, blue body. "Lightning Dust!" she said, finally.
"Of course! How are we going to get to her? Where is she?" Narrowleaf said, puzzled "Maybe we should get supplies, this may be a long trip."
"Yeah. Though, it couldn't be that long. Lightning Dust shouldn't have been able to summon him at all, let alone be thousands of miles away. She's a pegasus."
"Ok- look, look, i- no, jus-" Karl took out a long sigh. He had tried all day. But convincing Time itself isn't easy. "Look, it's just a interdimensional wound, it'll heal itself up, i don't see an-" He sighed again, burying his face in his hooves. One was of his own while the other was made out of an alloy of Titanium and Aluminium. He looked up at the floating ball of glowing, light-blue energy, who had a substancial dark-blue gash running through the side. "Alright. Fine! I'll go fix it. Just, keep calm. I'll fix this." He leaned back from the desk and turned around his chair, jumping off and landing neatly on the ground. "Open the psychic link between you and me, i want reports off any other types of pain along with the wound." He said, slightly calm, before heading back towards a long corridor, picking up a duster with a shadowing hood, enveloping his face in the darkest shadows. He roamed out into the corridor, walking slowly to take in the enviroment, which started changing all around him. Before he knew it, he was up on a large sand done overlooking the land of Equestria. "Hmm... somewhere in Equestria... or... New Equestria? Neoquestria? Hm, 's all possibilites." He told himself, speaking in a clear british accent. Scanning along the practical desert, he muttered some words under his breath. "...Did the wound cause this? Time must be stronger in large scale, i guess..." Karl set off from the sand dune, heading down the soft earth. "Better walk under the night... less chance to come across troops by now... Hmm... a little music would be nice... let's see... what do i know..." He sparked up before singing out "I don't want to set the woorld on fiiirreee~, i just want to staaaalllll, a flame in your heeaaaaart~" His psychic companion sang, although in his head, along with him.
Gear Burn approached the two talking ponies. "Last I heard was something about a academy reunion perhaps she would be there.". Is voice was reminiscent of a well educated English and he wore a lab coat and brass googles above his eyes. "Forgive me, I forgot to introduce myself. I am professor gear burn, Canterlot inventor, scientist, Teacher and Gentleman".
Bolt was struggling for time. Any longer and he would be dead. "Is that...all you got...you slow...excuse for a flyer?" He managed, forcing the words from his dry throat.
Bolt sighed. "Dust... I didn't want to trick you, but here comes the beast!" He said Lightning Dust's eyes widened, fear showing in them. The beast mode Bolt went into in near-death killed her brother, and it may well have been sending her to join him. Bolt's eyes and mane ignited with white-hot flames. He spoke with two voices. "You are a mere shadow of what I can be. At full strength, you cannot kill my restrained being. Your ignorance leads to death...say your prayers, Lightning Dust...because I'm going to burn you alive." They both stood, motionless, but Lightning Dust cracked under fear. Lightning Dust: Don't! Please!!! Look! I'll send you to your friends just don't kill me! She shocked him with a ray of green light and he appeared behind Brisk, eyes burning. "Brisk!" He said, eyes returning to normal. "She let me go...I scared the fight out of her...but the bad news is, I'm probably gonna die unless you can, y'know, make that not happen." He said, voice hollowing. "She'll be back for me when we least know it. She won't be alone...and you two won't know what she has in store." Bolt said before collapsing His dreams were frantic, and then progressed to become flat-out nightmares. All he could see after a while was Luna. He wanted to go to her, but she wasn't real. She was trying to bait him into death...but he was running out of resistance.
"Good point..." Narrowleaf paused to think. "Wait! Bolt said something abot the Elements, we should try the old homes of the Mane Six. It's worth a shot, Brisk."
Bolt was literally lying unconscious behind Brisk, so why didn't anyone notice him? Well he must not have been unconscious anymore, but he still couldn't move. He could see though. And he was getting angry.
"Gah! Bolt!? When did... Are you... Where..." Narrowleaf paused in confusion. "Where were you?!! We were worried! Bolt?"
"I got away...but I'm really battered and beaten. I think we all need to rest. Please..." Bolt said, then spiraled into a coughing fit. "I think my ribs are cracked..."
"Bolt, hang in there. No matter what, don't let go." Narrowleaf carefuly hoisted Bolt onto his back. "I'll get you home." Using Bolt's weight, Leaf began to hop across the dark, lifeless field, wanting not to lose someone important again.
