    I believe it's fyre-flye.deviantart.com for Lauren Faust.

    She's actually the one I referenced for making my first few ponies. You can really tell; I like the way she did the wings in concept more than the show's style.

    Yeah I just realized it's possible that I didn't use the correct term for it.

    Here's a link for drawing manga characters that kinda sums up what I'm talking about.

    You can apply the same technique to ponies, or just about anything really.
