"Enough!" Heculius yelled, and a strange wind put out Human Karl's flame and blew the group away from each other, "We do not have the time for this! And you!" Heculius said, pointing to Human Karl, "I don't care what you are, but no more of this!" The sound in Heculius' voice alone was enough to shut everyone up. Little did they know that this was Heculius' element, Divine Right. "Now, here's what we are going to do, we are going to shut up, we are going to act as a group, and we are going to find the Knowledge O.P.I.A.T. and Tremalion; any questions?"
"We need to just follow the source that has the most magical power." Heculius said. Suddenly, like a ghost from the mist, a strange, blue-ish projection that flickered and had massive amount of static. "Hello?" asked a far away sounding voice, "Is anypony there? I am with the *static* in the *static*. I have seen *long period of static*. Please, if you get this message *static* the O.P.I.A.T. and I need help. Please hurry." the projection faded out, leaving the group stunned.
"That was Tremalion, I can reconize my brother's voice from anywhere. This makes our job a lot easier, Snow Mark." Heculius said, "Would you kindly cast an aura detection spell?" Snow smiled, knowing what Heculius was doing, "Of course." her eyes slipped into a purple color and an aura stronger than anything she's come across before nearly blinded her, "He's this way." Snow said after she grew accustomed to the awesome aura in front of her.
Snow nodded and followed the bright trail, it was going to be a long hike. (The next day) "This is where the trail ends." Snow said, as they stood at the base of a huge cliff.
"Interesting..." Heculius muttered. He quickly wiped a spot on the ground of dirt to reveal a metal door, "Curious how the Knowledge O.P.I.A.T. chose the Providence Cliff Bunker for its refuge." Snow was curious, "How so?". "Well, from the little of the human archives we have been able to unlock, the last human on Earth died here 5000 years ago. This bunker, along with most scattered across the countryside were found, not built. We merely...adapted them for use by our species. The humans built these, hence the high ceilings, objects seemingly too high up on the wall etc. Anyways, let's go in." Heculius opened the bunker door with a satisfying swosh of air. Heculius dropped down, followed by Snow, Dark, and Winter, "Come on down!" Winter called.
Firebreeze jumped down into the bunker and looked around, "Interesting place." He said, examining items in the room.
Tremalion came out of a room, looking really worn down, "Heculius, Champions, it's nice to see you survived the attack on Canterlot. Please, follow me, there's something you need to see. It's time I showed you Opiat."
What Firebreeze saw was amazing, yet strange at the same time. The OPIAT was a multi-hued blue ball of constant motion inside,with tiny specks of information floating through it before disparaging. "This is the O.P.I.A.T." Tremalion said, "We found it in this very bunker in fact. This is the known universe's single greatest collection of knowledge. Anything that has anything to do with this planet is stored inside. But it is also the greatest and most dangerous puzzle, as it is an encrypted system, and even if you knew how to read it, doesn't mean you should. The massive amount of knowledge unleashed upon the unprepared mind can drive it insane, even kill it. We have all of the past five thousand years done, but what we were interested in was not only the time of Humans, but the future as well. The O.P.I.A.T. is so complex that it can literally predict future events with an amazing degree of accuarcy, it is how we found out about the approaching invasion. O.P.I.A.T., how are you doing?" The thing hummed, and them began to speak, flashing blue for every word it spoke, "I am doing fine, Reader Tremalion. I see my predictions about your friends' coming came true. It is good to see that 8000 years of existence haven't dulled me yet."
Firebreeze looked at the O.P.I.A.T, amazed, "I was expecting some sort of giant computer, but a talking robot is a lot cooler."
"I am NOT a robot!" O.P.I.A.T. sounding almost indignant, "I am an intelligent construct, built by my creators for the betterment of the world! Robots are just dumb metal husks that do whatever they are programmed to do. Anyways, you are probably wondering why I am supporting you in this war, no, wait, this is an extermination, anyways, when I was built by the very people flying around in those black and gold space-fighters. The answer is, these are not like those who created me. Back in the fifteenth of April, 2995, just a century after my creation, a new solution to advancing the human genome across the stars was discovered. The nano-tech re-write human DNA into something better, people could live twice as long, be three times stringer than they ever dreamed of, all that kind of stuff. These 'Humans' that you are facing now are not the ones that I knew and was built by. They call themselves 'Homo Ultimus' the ultimate man. They are virtually immortal to time, can regenerate their wounds, are as smart as smart comes, making even the brightest pony look average, and can have powers of all types. Their only weakness lies in their pride."
"You are fighting a war that cannot possibly be won." O.P.I.A.T. said bluntly, "Already, every major city in this world have been vaporized by the Grand Surface Mass Vaporization Cannon on Reach. Humans are pouring from the wormhole that connects Reach and Earth. But I do see a small chance, a slender possibility. Like I said, Homo Ultimus is a proud version of the human, inflicting damage that would harm that pride might cause them to falter. And then a faltering enemy is a weak one, gaps in defenses open up, they become unsure. The only way for ponykind to survive this war is to not face the humans directly, but through lies, deceit, and sabotage."
