"I was not talking about Lithians, I was talking about their genetically enhanced brothers, Homo Ultimus." O.P.I.A.T. said, "And I would prefer if you just called me Opiat."
"Ooooh, those guys. Yeah they're dumbags." Karl walked out of the room. "OP, remember the package for Karl!"
"He is not ready for it yet." Opiat said, "And Ultimus' are probably a lot smarter and stronger than you are. Anyways, I will do my best to help, but don't expect much."
"Whatever you say, ya stupid old computer!" He laughs as he walks out of the room. He looks over to Pony Karl, and says, "Not ready, or some stuff like that" He motions over to wait. (Sorry for slow posting, RPing with 'nother at the same time.)
"Take down some of their ships, destroy the huge freckin laser beam, something like that." OPIAT said.
Suddenly O.P.I.A.T. turned blood red, bathing the room in a creepy red glow, "Heavy Man O' War detected in the area, heading straight for our location. Man O' War is backed up by a contingent of Heavy Frigates and thousands of M-53 Space-Fighters."
"That's a lot of ships for..." He began to count the ponies in the bunker, "Nevermind, what should we do!?"
"Wait them out. The entrance is well hidden, please wait while I hack into their comms." Opiat said. A little bit later, voices began pouring from O.P.I.A.T. "Commander Freeheart, check check for objectives." said one voice that Opiat had amplified, "Break, capture, recover the program. The Knowledge is the single greatest weapon the ponies have, remove that and soon the rest will fall into place." "But sir, what about the leaders?" "Two have been confirmed inside the F.R.B., the two others have disappeared. The F.R.B. is also getting a task force sent to it." "Yes sir, do you know where the Knowledge is?" "No, but it is in the area, the sensors can see it."
Suddenly, A crystalline figure comes out of the shadows. "I believe i can help you with that." He walks over to the group and says, "I am The Clockmaker." He stretches out a hand for the group.
"I would say that yes, but for now? Lets start with introductions." He motioned for the door behind them, which closed.
Commander Fireheart's voice could be heard again, "Just detected a new power source, pinpointing... We found the bunker boys. And it appears the sensors believe that we should destroy the bunker, there's is a lot of power inside it, it is surprising that it doesn't blow on its own. Prepare to fire the M.A. Gun!" Opiat suddenly shut off the communication and said, "We need to do something and fast, a M.A. Round can obliterate entire mountainsides." Tremalion nodded, "I know what to do." and he went outside.
"What exactly do you have to do?" Breeze said, following Tremalion up until they made it to the exit.
"Stay here, that's what you need to do." Tremalion said, opening the bunker door. From inside, he could hear OPIAT still playing the comms, "One coming out now! He matches the identity of one of the leaders sir!" Tremalion closed the door before he could hear anymore as to not let Firebreeze out. He then turned his eyes to the massive armada assembled in front of him. Storm clouds started gathering overhead, making a dense cloud ceiling that quickly unleashed a massive storm. Tremalion's eyes became all electric yellow and were seemingly sparking. His mane became electrified as he floated into the air, lightning striking all around him. He then used his Thunder Voice, "TURN BACK, FOOLS OF REACH, AS YOUR FOOLHARDY INVASION IS DOOMED TO FAIL! FOR THERE IS ONE THING THAT WE HAVE THAT YOU LACK, AND THAT!...IS!…SPIRIT!" He suddenly exploded in a massive lightning explosion that took down many of the flying space fighters. Where once was Tremalion, was now a spirit of almost pure electricity, "I AM THE MASTER OF THE ESSENCE! THIS IS WHERE YOUR FALL SHALL START!" the essence yelled before diving straight at the largest ship, the Heavy Man O' War. The essence became a solid white streak across the sky and shot into the Man O' War and cut through it like a knife through butter. When it turned back, the Man O' War was rocked by a series of explosions that finally ended when the Man O War completely self destructed high above as it tryed to flee. Tremalion's essence zipped between the remaining ships, causing them to do almost as much damage to each other as he did to them. By the time they decided to retreat, only 3 heavily damaged frigates remained, and the landscape below was littered with blasted out hulks of the ships and debris from them. The essence landed in front of the entrance, where everypony had gathered to watch the battle, and faded back into Tremalion, who almost collapsed from fatigue, "I haven't been Essence that long since the first civil war." he muttered.
Firebreeze assists Tremalion back into the bunker, "That was quite the show, I enjoyed it a lot." he then chuckles.
Snow had been amazed at the sight at what Tremalion was capable of doing, she found herself seriously questioning just how actually powerful Celestia was. Here was Tremalion, who had just obliterated a huge invading fleet in mere minutes when Celestia was defeated by the Queen of the Changelings. "Could, I eventually be able to do something like that?" she asked breathlessly, as she was the only pony she knew of besides Tremalion who used Essence Magic. Tremalion slightly chuckled "Not to that degree, you would probably die if you tried, but doing something similar to it? Yes." O.P.I.A.T. floated over and scanned Tremalion real quick, "It's merely exhaustion, nothing wrong on the inside." he announced, "And I'm already hearing a lot of chatter about the 5th Fleet being wiped out, that should be a valuable asset to us, it should give us some breathing room before they try to get us again."
Pony Karl had come up with a plan. A plan that would him leaving therest of the group sadly. He looked at Lithian Karl, who was sitting down, slowly burning a stick to ashes. "Psst, hey, Karl." He whispered yo Karl, who slid over to his ear. "I got a plan, but i need your cooperation for this." Lithian Karl looked away at the rest of the group, then whispered back, "Eh. I don't think enyone except the guy with the powers similar to Leo should even try." Pony Karl continued whispering. "Look, we need to get out of the bunker, then got to one of the wreckages if we can find-" He looked around to check id nopony was listening. "If we can find a LPC. then maybe we can fix my horn." Lithian Karls eyes widened. He looked at Karl, then swiped that look over everyone in the room. "Alright, here's how we do: I drop a flash, and we blot for the door. I head to base and get myself with a Jet to scout the area with, while you go to a wreckage. Sound alright?" Lithian Karl confirmation was a nod of his pony equivalent. "Right. The lets do this." Lithian Karl stood, began walking to the group with a flashbang in his hand. "Tallyho!" He screamed as he pulled the pin and tossed it right in to the group, turning away from the incoming blast. Pony Karl was at the ladder and had begun climbing it.
He'd been told nothing for a round 24 hours now. At this point, he'd have something, surely. Something to go on. Apparently, he was useful here but he still hadn't a damn clue how or why. But he was in a sort of safe situation now. He knew of his enemy. Who he was expected to fight and what they were capable of. He also knew that his kind had stories devoted to them teasing the arrogant and the proud. He'd never heard them but they get a passing mention when he researches. No all he wanted to know was why was he here with this lot. You don't just get scooped up for no reason. Tyro moves towards O.P.I.A.T just as the flash bang goes off, pointlessly. Having luckily had his head pointed in the wrong way to be affected, he manages to catch the smoke and lingering light as it dissipates. He shakes his head, not bothering to question that right now and approaches the A.I. "O.P.I.A.T? I was wondering if I could talk with you? About the elements?" He asks quietly. "Mainly what they are and what I have to do with them?"
