(Sure. Why not?) Tyro walks in, approaching Winter with a big grin on his face. "I dunno if this is good news or not but Karl's likely to pull through." He said, approaching them and the window, looking into the crib and the sleeping foal. He stares contemplatively then smirks in Winter's direction. "Heh. No more morning sickness, random and weird cravings, mood swings and complaints about her hooves. Plus, you get one of those." He points vaguely at the other foals beyond the window. "Things are looking up." He sits there, looking over the cots. His exile was ever more pronounced now. The crying and the fluff and the accidental fires. Whenever they stick each other to the ceiling or take each others toys. Whenever they stood in front of the monsters and banded together. When she graduated. When they opened the shop. His first ship. His first computer. The last thing he ever saw of them was them circling around and raising glasses in the birthday candle glow. "Did I ever mention my littlelens or have I not gotten that drunk?" He asks the others. "I can't quite remember. I've been doing other things..."
"I don't believe you're quite that drunk yet." Winter said before turning his eyes to the deep purple colt in front of him, "Well, once we figure out how to beat the humans, things will be even better."
Dark Shine nodded. "Where will your foal go? We cant let anything happen to him." He then turns to Tyro. "I say we keep an Eye on Karl. If he causes a problem, we can just knock him down a bit."
"So we put Karl on lock-down?" Suggested Arrows. "As for the foal, I say Snow and Winter take shifts watching over colt."
Human Karl looked out over the bombed landscape. He had searched everywhere, but hadn't been able to localize the ponys he was looking after. Plus, the magical outburst Karl had created had ripped a bloody ship apart! As he watched over the wrecked ship, Firefly walked up behind him. "Um, Colonel Karl?" She asked him, trying to gain his attention. "Report, Firefly." He said, still looking over the landscape. "There has been no results in locating the missing ponys." Karl turned to look at Firefly with a wild face. "Okay, okay. I understand that they don't want to be found, but are they really gonna keep doing this? Nevermind, keep looking for them." He turned out to look back at the landscape. "Where the bloody 'ell is The Clockmaker when i need 'im?" He sat down and scanned the landscape. Wreckages after ships here and there, with soldiers moving between them. "Heh, wherever you are, i will bloody find you..."
"I say will kill him now." Fire says, "If his human self betrayed us, then his pony self is bound to do the same."
"Have you seen the nutjob lately?" Tyro said, throwing a knowing look at Firebreaze. "His burns are pretty bad. He doesn't look likely to be doing anything for a long while. No idea how he got attacked like that. Neither me or you did anything to him."
"I didn't either." Winter Warmth said, when they looked at him he just shrugged and said, "I'm called Winter Warmth for a reason ya know." before turning his attention back to his colt.
"Well, if he's dead, then we don't have to worry about the nut job anymore, and that's sounds dandy to me." Fire said.
Snow walked into the nursery room with all the others, she looked worn and tired, but in good spirits, "Howdy." she said, nodding.
Dark Shine shook his head. "I'm a pacifist so I never hurt him. In fact, I stopped you from impaling him with a horn a while ago Winter. I say, we simply keep an eye on him. If he tries anything, it will be us on him. Main thing we do is protect the foal."
Snow glared at Winter upon hearing that he tried to stab Karl with his horn, but at the mention at their newborn, Snow remembered something, "Oh yes, I forgot to mention his name. Winter and I decided on this a few weeks ago, his name is going to be Midnight Sun, as he is the light of life in the middle of so much darkness and death."
"Aww...How poetic.." Tyro comments, trying his hardest not to sound too ga-ga about all of this. He was failing miserably. "Pretty too.."
"Yes, yes. Very poetic." Fire said, "Anyway, I'm going to go through those crates of supplies we brought back a few days ago. Those damn things have the toughest locks."
"I could also be of some use. I made some lock picks back in the Everfree. I kept some just encase." Arrows said.
