Karl looked at Snow and said, "This is your house? Well, i was just gonna avoid you until i could get some more info on you!" He chuckled a little from his statement and continued. "But now that you've noticed me, i may as well befriend you instead." He gave her a wide smile as his pupils went from normal to outrageously small. "Plus, i swear i've seen you before!" He says while inspecting Snow as best as he can. "Have we met before?" He asked, smile disappearing from his lips.
"Uh no, I think I would be able to remember a pony as...unique as you." Snow said suspicious now, "I don't even know your name."
Karl looks a bit confused, but then realizes he hadn't told Snow his name. "Ah silly me! I forgot to tell my name! Anywho, my name's Karl. Only Karl. I've got a nickname too, but that's not important right now!" He says looking at Snow, giving her a broad smile. "What is important is that the winds are icy, and i'm both freezing and starving to death simoultanesly!" He starts slightly shaking and gives Snow a "Can you help me?" look.
"Well, I think I know why your so cold, look behind you." Snow remarked. When Karl turned around, he came face to face with a blue pony staring daggers at him, "Karl, this is my husband, Winter Warmth." Snow said. Winter whispered lowly to Karl, "Look kid, don't you dare think about doing anything that can harm my wife, myself, my property, or my friends and I won't burn you to ash and then freeze your remains, got it?" he snarled.
Karls eyes quickly returned to normal, and he said in a happy tone, "Sure thing, Mr Warmth!" He then bows infront of Winter and says, "i'm honored by your appearing." As he stands back up to turn back to Snow, he sees Winters ice-biting gaze, making him shiver a little bit. "Well now, don't be so serious! Where's the fun in that?" He was now standing on top of Winters back singing Dead or Alive by Bon Jovi.
Winter bucked Karl off, "Now, never do that again." he said before turning to Snow, "Sorry I came back so early, I know how much you like to be alone and relax but turns out the mission I was assigned to was much easier than anticipated. I'll be inside if you need me." and he went into the house. Snow looked over to Karl, eyes turning purple as she looked at his aura to get a better idea of his personality, his strengths, his weaknesses, his hidden wounds, etc. "What the hay is wrong with you." Snow murmured as she looked at the convoluted mass of aura in front of her. Many different colors and hues swirled around like liquid in his body, and in some places it wasn't even there. He had a very strange aura indeed.
Karl stood up and looked at Snow, whos eyes were now purple. "Ah i see. You can use that kind of magic." I thought for a second then a grim smile appeared on his face, as he punched himself in the face. The force of it was enough to break his own jaw. He thought, "Look at mah aura now, ya prancin' show pony."
Snow watched as his aura zoomed to the spot of the broken jaw, attempting to fix it, but only a certain spell could activate it for the full effect. Snow's horn glew and Karl's jaw quickly mended itself, "And just so you know, I am the only master of Essence magic, a gift bestowed upon me by Prince Tremalion, the discoverer of it." Snow said before turning to head inside her house. She grab a White Hope flower and disappeared inside, within minutes,a tray with 4 cupcakes on it appeared in front of Karl.
Karl looked at the Four cupcakes on the tray, before uttering, "Kinga vor tarack." The cupcakes turned into chocolate muffins with small chocolate chips in them, which Karl happily took and began nomming on. "This is really good! Thanks!" He says as he swallows down the first muffin. (The strange words will get explained later, but for now they will be a complete mystery.)
Firebreeze landed near Snow's home. It had been awhile since they've talked and there wasn't much going on in ponyville. He walked up to the door and suddenly noticed a pony munching on muffins. 'I'll just ignore that for now...' He thought, knocking on Snow's door.
Snow looked up from the book she was reading at the sound of knocking at her door. She got up and went to open the door, revealing Firebreeze, "Oh, hello Firebreeze, long time no see" She said, "How have you been?"
"Pretty good," Breeze said, "I don't have any work today, so I figured I would come over here so we could catch up."
"That's fine by me. And it just so happens that Winter's here to! Come on in!" Snow said, waving Firebreeze inside.
"Thanks!" Snow said happily as she closed the door, "Winter dear, Firebreeze is here!" She called. The blue pony walked into the room, "Hello again." he said, extending a hoof.
"Fine, I guess," Breeze said, "We lost a few EWT members during the war. We're down to six." He frowns and looks at the ground out of sadness but soon snaps out of it.
"Oh...well...I'm sorry about that." Winter said. "So, what exactly was your last mission?" Snow suddenly asked Winter, hoping to break the sad spell, "And while you two are talking about that, I'll go make some snacks!" she said before disappearing into the next room. Winter turned to Firebreeze, "You know, things really have been the same around here since then. There's just something different about this place." Winter said sitting down on a couch. "So, have you ever thought of settling down like Snow and I, or are you planning on remaining a free bronco?"
"I dunno," Breeze said sitting down, "I've been too focused on working and training to even care about much else."
