Winter nodded, "I understand." Then Snow came back through the door, levitating a tray filled with snacks in front of her, "Anypony hungry?" she asked cheerfully.
"Ok then." She said setting the tray on the coffee table between the two couches. She suddenly looked like she was trying to say something, bu didn't know what do say. "You alright Snowy?" Winter asked, obviously concerned. "Yes I'm fine, but...." she whispered something into Winter's ear and his eyes grew wide. A silent conversation between the two happened that ended quickly with Snow nodding and Winter looking faint. "Well, we have been trying." Snow said softly, as so Firebreeze didn't hear.
(For once, my signature truly is relevant) Snow turned to Firebreeze and flashed a smile, "Of course! Things are more than alright, just... a bit unexpected." she seemed really hesitant about breaking whatever news she had. "Think you can handle something that can make my ol' soldier almost faint?"
Karl was looking in through the window of the house, mostly focusing at the green coat and red mane. "What are they talking about?" He muttered to himself. He turned away from the window and sat down in white flower field, closing his eyes to concentrate. (There we go! Das a lot better!)
"I only just found out while I was in the kitchen, I felt something weird in my stomach area and one aura check later, I saw it." Snow said, "Oh yea, I guess you should know that its a colt!"
Karl was sitting in the white flower field, exhaling and inhaling deeply. He could feel the energy from the flowers jump and play around his body, but he chose to ignore it for now; He had discovered a small spark flicker to life between all the others. He knew it was special.
Snow shook her head, "I don't, do you?" she asked Winter, who responded with another shake of the head. "Eh, we'll get around to it eventually." Snow said.
"Makes sense" He said, standing up, "Well, I'm sure you two would like some alone time to discuss the baby."
(Remember, Karl is unbeknowingst to everything thats happening inside of the house.) As Karl looked for the spark again, he changed the white flowers to a more... soothing color. "And what better color than blue?" He muttered as he uttered the words "Colra Tros Obles." And with his hoof, the petals of the flowers turned into a moving blue, making the ground beneath him look like an ocean. "Hm, yes very nice indeed..." He thought as he laid down between the flowers, and took in the spark as one of kin.
"Ok, nice seeing you Firebreeze!" Snow said. (Outside Snow's house) The White Hope that Karl had just changed blue strangely faded back into their original white color the moment Karl looked away. (These are very special flowers just so you understand) (In Canterlot)"Come on recruits! If you want to be a Guard you have to do better than this!" Dark barked at the new recruits, while it technically wasn't her job, she always got first run with them. She physically yanked spears being held into proper marching position, kicking the ones who lagged behind back up to the group, that sort of thing. "Come on, you are pitiful!" she yelled as she flew in circles around the group of fifty or so ponies. She loved doing this.
As Breeze walked outside, he noticed something different, "Uh, Snow, I thought these flowers were White Hopes, not Blue Hopes..."
