Alice was excited for here first day of school, she couldn't wait to make new friends. "Wait up." She was way ahead of her mother and skidded to a halt. "Your bow is falling off." Alice let her mom fix the bow. "Hehe this is going to be so fun." Her mom gave her a big smile "I'm sure it will be." They continued on to the school Alice again taking off ahead.
Gaze walked out the door with his lunch in his saddle bag and other school supplies his parents couldn't walk him to school because his mother was taking care of his dad because he was sick with the pony pox. He waved to his mom and closed the door he was nervous to go the school house alone he started to walk when he had finally made it he saw two colts the weirder looking had an angry face. He started to walk towards the two but he stopped in his tracks Gaze was to nervous to talk to the two so he walked over to the school house the first one to be inside.
Facade stepped back at the tone of his voice, and he narrowed his eyes at the irritable pony. "Mine is Facade. Any reason why you must be so irritating?" He asked with a smug look. "Honestly, only simpleta...simple...simple ponies greet others like that!" He said, blushing lightly as he stumbled over the world simpleton.
"This is the last place I wanna be today... I'd rather be flying with my dad. So please excuse my annoyance with how today's going" Fire said looking towards the sky.
Facade looked back at his wings as he attempted to flap them. "Flying? Flying is just a way to get to places...Where do you need to go?"
"I don't need to go anywhere. I fly for fun! Like doing flips and tricks! I'm gonna be a dare devil like my dad one day." Fire replied.
Facade narrowed his eyes, though this time in confusion. "Fly for fun? Flips and stuff? Well that doesn't seem very worth while! Not like you can do much with tricks!"
"Aha! That's whut I was thinking too!" Delphinium laughed as his new friend demonstrated his thoughts on the teacher as they met her. Nearly falling over, the black pegasus flapped his wings for balance and shoved a hoof out. "The name's Talon, by the way. Nice meeting you!" Delphinium planted his hoof firmly on Talon's before they heard a loud "AHEM!" from the front of the classroom. Cringing, Delphinium instantly jolted forward sporting his best poker face while Talon lazily moved his eyes to the front of the class. "I'll have no more interruptions or I'm moving you two. Now, back to the lesson."
Facade rolled his eyes and and hoofed the ground. "Flying can't get you a job! That's very unlikely." Facade put a hoof up to his head. "Smartness is where it's at! I mean...We got to school to learn right? So, being smart gets you everywhere in life! Not...flying!"
Karl was sitting on the school roof, looking down at both green pegasi and a brown-ish one. "Karl! What are you doing up here?!" He heard behind him. "Weeellll...i dunno. Just thought it would be fun to sit here." He simply answered his teacher. "But you can get hurt! Come here now!" The teacher cried out. Karl sighed and stood up, bounced over to the teacher and walked infront of her. He was gonna visit this roof more often. Maybe with some friends?
Cyanside woke up from her dream, feeling more refreshed and relaxed than ever...until she saw the time, School had started nearly half an hour ago. "Nonononono, I'm way too late. Why didn't mom wake me? Maybe I'm still dreaming, maybe..." Cyanside shot down the stairs (Her bedroom having been on the second floor of the house) before racing into the kitchen, where her mother, Brighteyes, was busy making a late breakfast for herself. "Why didn't you wake me up mom?" Brighteyes wheeled around to see her filly wide awake, and staring at her with a death glare. "Well I thought you were ill since you slept in so long, besides, it's just the first day of school. It's not like anything interesting happens then anyway." "Butnowit'sgoingtoseemlikeidon'tlikeschoolbutireallydolikeitbutyouknowwhatscrewiti'dbetterhurry." Cyanside shot out of the door, neglecting both what would have been her very late breakfast, and any school supplies. Cyanside took off at a gallop for her school. "Running, running, running, running, RUNNING." Cyanside had a habit of saying what she was doing whenever she was excited or panicked. Her father, Pyre, said it was a bad habit of hers, her mother said it was cute. Her eyes lit up, this was it, she was finally going to go to school. Today was going to be a great day. She was immediately contradicted when she reached the school and promptly tripping, falling moments before reaching the door, managing to her head twice in the process. She could only hope that the inside of the school was more head-friendly than its door.
"Are you kidding me?!" Fire said back to Facade, "My father works as professional Dare Devil! He's one of the best! And when he's not performing, he works to fight hurricanes and tornadoes! To do all of that requires skill, when I plan on getting!"
Night looked at the ground in class and sighed. Work. Not break. He sat there and doodled on his work, until he got told off.
"Come on, kids!" The teacher called, "It's time to start the day!" Fire groaned, then made his way into the school house.
Gea sat nervously in the back of the class, not really lookin at anypony. She was sketching in her notebook, a drawing of the trees outside the class window. The drawing was very impressive for a filly. I wonder if anypony will like me...Gea whispered it to herself, adding a small group of ponies beneath the drawn tree. I wonder if anypony will even talk to me...Gea looked up at the teacher and started paying the utmost attention.
Firebreeze sat at his desk in the back, looking bored overall. He began doodling stick ponies to entertain himself, but managed to drop his pencil. 'Darnit!' He thought.
Gea turned her attention to the dropped pencil and swooped it up with the tip of her wing, she gave it back to firebreeze and continued listening to the teacher give the basic first day of school lecture.
Fire send Gea a nod, as to say 'Thanks', then continues doodling the simple yet satisfying thing that is a stick pony.
Gea cracks a slight smile. "What are you drawing?" She asks it quietly, just enough to be heard. Her own pencil now lies still, the drawing of the tree and the ponies finished.
