Snow started to break out in cold sweat, "Uh, uh…" she was literally at a loss for words, Mark Co, Equestria's largest and best Food and Resources provider, rang through her head. Her father's buisness had a history of driving small town businesses out of buisness virtually from the moment the first shop opened. "You might wanna tell your pa that Mark Co is coming soon." she said before running off
Fire's heart practically stopped, "Wha-what?! They can't drive us outta business! It's all we have! Dad can't go back to the Extreme Weather Team a this point and Ma sold her adventure gear for extra money!"
She winces. "I-I'm sure we can do something! We can stop Mr. Mark!" Gea had no confidence in her own words.
"We can tell your parents in warning, and then mine...then they can spread it around...and then they can boyc-baoc...." She stumbles over 'boycot' "stop buying Mark Company stuff!"
"Maybe... But we don't know where Snow lives... Maybe my dad will know and then they could talked about it!" Fire said, perking up.
"Of course! My Pa trusts me!" He said as they entered the house, "Mom, Dad, I'm back with a friend, and we have some news..."
Snow found her dad talking with her mom, and like she always did when around her mom, she tried to sound at least a little less country. "Uh, pa-I mean dad, can I ask you something?" she asked, walking up to her father. "Shoot, ya just did Snowy!" Billy replied jokingly, "What is it pumpkin?" Snow rubbed her hoof in the dirt and said, "Well, I know that your plannin on buildin a restaurant and all here, but one of my new friend's parents run a sandwich shop and your places tend to drive the little places out of business!" Billy chuckled and said, "Now ya listen 'ere close, Ah ain't openin one of dem country-style or sandwich shops Ah usually do. Ah make sure that everything Ah do is to bring somethin new an' excitin to the townsfolk. Ah'm openin' up a fancy restaurant Snowy, not some sandwich shop."
