“They’re my favorites. They’re small and they hop.”
"Hop.. What do they look like?"
"I can't describe in terms in mouse."
"Aw.. Okay."
"I'll draw one."
She grinned at him. "You will?"
"Sure."
She nodded, standing up. "I have some papers and pencils we can use."
“You do? How convenient.
She nodded excitedly, going to her bag and getting the items.
He sat at the table as Eli came back out.
She came back with papers and pencils, setting them down.
He began to draw as Eli got some soup.
She took her own paper, drawing a row of houses on a street.
He eventually showed her a crude sketch of a rabbit.
A smile crossed her face. "Cute!"
"They're sweet, right?"
She nodded before showing him her paper. "I drew a neighborhood!"
He started laughing. "What is that?"
She gave him a playful glare. "See? These are the houses and this is the street!"
