She went to sit by the entrance. "I'm sorry," she said, leaning against a wall. "I know nightmares can be bad sometimes."
He gave her a small grin, looking back out across the horizon. "It's not your fault, Aspen. Don't worry."
He yawned, looking out across the horizon again before lying back against the floor. "Shouldn't you get some sleep?"
He blinked, looking over at her confusedly. "Because I had a bad dream. I had to make sure you were okay."
She tilted her head slightly. "Oh.." she murmured, before reaching over and patting his arm. "Well I'm perfectly fine."
She didn't notice his gaze, instead looking out at the horizon with curiosity. After a moment she looked back at him.
He watched her, his brown eyes thoughtful and warm. He seemed tired, but the warm, sleepy kind. "You're lovely, you know," he said thoughtfully, looking back across the horizon.
