He frowned, looking down at it. "I don't know," he said after a moment. "Something about my hands with yours seemed to bother you."
"On Icarus, holding hands is something you do in a relationship. I guess in this circumstance it's okay."
He considered this phenomenon, his thumb rubbing the palm of her hand idly. "Huh," he said thoughtfully.
"I don't know," he said after a moment. "I don't understand all this stuff. But I like holding your hand like this, even if it's not something we should do."
She blushed again, squeezing his hand slightly before letting go. "Eli doesn't approve of any of it."
