"Yeah.. I'll try not to get distracted."
"Don't worry. Everyone messes up pancakes their first time."
"Did you?"
"Of course I did."
She nodded. "Alright. Let's try again."
"Pour the batter on."
She poured it carefully.
“There we go. Now, don’t let it leave your sights.”
She stood aside. "I wouldn't dare."
“This is your biggest priority.”
She raised her eyebrows at him.
“Number one.”
"You."
He frowned, raising one eyebrow. "Me?"
"Yeah. I prioritize you."
"Huh," he said thoughtfully. "But the pancakes."
She shrugged, looking back at the pancakes.
He patted her shoulder playfully. "Don't worry."
She looked back at him, tilting her head slightly.
He frowned, dropping his hand instinctively. "What?"
