She sat up, starting out. "Let's go, egg boy."
He laughed. “I’m not egg boy!”
"That's a title earned," she replied with a grin. "Egg boy."
“Are you Egg Girl then?”
"No, my name is Aspen."
“Well, my name is August.”
"I thought it was Egg Boy."
“No.”
She gave him a grin.
“My name is not Egg Boy.”
"I know, Aug."
“It is August,” he informed her, glancing st her out of the corner of his eye.
She looked over at him curiously. "Don't worry, I know."
He nodded, going over to the kitchen counter.
"I was teasing you."
“My name is August,” he repeated, turning to look at her. “Not Egg Boy.”
She laughed, her eyes warm as she went to hug him. "I know."
He wrapped his arms around her, kissing the top of her head. “August.”
"August," she confirmed.
“Not Egg Boy.”
