"So why don't you stay for once?" he asked, sounding incredulous. "God, Aspen, is all you do when things get tough is run away?"
"I wasn't going to run away. I was planning on staying, even though you don't want me here. I'm not running away again."
"I'm not sure where I'm supposed to go," she said. "Here or wherever.. This room is the only place I know here and I just came from the neighborhood."
"Of course I do, Aspen, don't you understand? Everything I've done since you left has been in hopes that if you were to return, you'd stay this time around."
"I'll tell him eventually," he said curtly. "But he was against the idea of the Fort and if he thinks I'm doing it, he'll try and come in and stop me. Don't push me on this, please."
