"I missed you too," she said quietly. "And I think you're terribly cute, even if you disgree."
He frowned, shaking his head. "Please don't do that."
She frowned, saying nothing.
He paused before kissing her quietly, his hand coming to rest on her jaw.
She kissed him back, moving closer.
"Don't be sad, please."
"I'll try to be happy if it makes you feel any better."
"It does," he replied quietly. "Thank you."
She nodded before kissing him again, her hand running through his hair.
He kissed her back, his heart being quickly.
She let her hand rest on his chest, feeling his heartbeat.
It was rapid under her hand, thudding against her palm.
She pulled away for a moment, resting her forehead against his quietly.
"Hi," he said quietly.
She couldn't help but grin. "Hi."
"What are we doing?"
"Kissing a lot?"
“I guess so.”
"Why..? Is that okay?"
“It is,” he confirmed. “I’m just not used to it.”
