"I missed you too, Aug. I was really sad after I left."
"I'm sure," he said quietly, kissing her deeply again.
She rested her hand on his jaw, shifting closer.
He was quiet for a moment, looking puzzled. "I want you near."
She seemed confused. "I want you near too..?"
He seemed confused, considering this. "Huh."
"What's wrong?'
"I don't know. Nevermind."
She tilted her head before kissing his jaw slowly, her touch warm.
He closed his eyes, exhaling sharply at her touch.
She paused, looking up at him before kissing his sternum.
His eyes opened, and he looked down at her, his brow furrowed in confusion. "What are you doing?"
She looked up easily. "Kissing you."
He considered this before nodding. "Okay."
She pursed her lips thoughtfully before shifting again, just below his ribs.
His hand rested in her hair and he took a deep breath, his brow furrowing.

Aspen was beside him, her head resting in the curve of his neck.
His head was resting against hers and his fingers traced her skin slowly.
