"I'm glad. You'll be able to see again soon. I'll go ask the doctor."
"Mm... okay."
She stood up, heading out to ask the doctor how long it would take.
He informed her that it would be a couple of hours.
She returned to August. "He said it could be a couple hours until you can see clearly."
He sighed. "A couple hours too long, am I right?"
She laughed slightly. "I suppose. You should rest. It'll go by much quicker."
"Will you stay here or do you need to go home?"
"I'll stay here as long as you're here. I'm not leaving your side."
"Aren't you tired, though?"
"I'll be alright. Trust me. Just rest."
"Do you want to sleep?"
"I'll sleep here, okay?"
"You can come to the bed."
She seemed hesitant before lying beside him. "Sleep okay..?"
"Mmhm," he mumbled, closing his eyes.
She did the same, falling asleep rather quickly.
He followed soon after.
