"Yes, but if I were to fall asleep, I could suffocate and die. I don't want to be alone if that happens. So sleep here, okay?"
She crawled into bed beside him, looking somewhat worried. "Do you remember what the person who hurt you looked like..?"
His brow furrowed as he considered this. "There were... there were lots of them. I got lost, and I tried asking for directions, but I forgot that they didn't have translators. I guess living up here makes you pretty isolated to the possibility of other languages. They thought I was crazy."
She reached up, brushing his hair back gently as she observed him worriedly. "Maybe tomorrow I could teach you some words.."
She sighed. "It's.. a lot. I'm going to have to keep working. I'm sorry. It's my fault that were stuck here."
She frowned, looking down at him before leaning down and kissing his temple. "Okay. First I'm going to make some tea and get some ice for your eye."
