She nodded. "It's a place where you get food. It's good."
“Oh. Okay. Lead the way.”
She nodded, starting down the street decisively.
He followed, reaching for her hand.
She took his, her hand warm.
He looked down at her thoughtfully. “I love you.”
She returned his gaze with a blush. "I love you too.."
He frowned, looking confused. “Why are you embarrassed?”
"I'm not embarrassed.. I just think you're very cute."
“Me? I am cute.”
"You are," she agreed. "Very cute."
“You told me that once.”
"I'm glad you remembered. I love you very much, August."
He tilted his head, a sunny grin crossing his lips. “I love you too.”
She softened at his smile, resting her head on his shoulder.
“What are you thinking about?”
"You. You're on my mind."
“No, I’m not. I’m right here.”
She laughed. "It's an expression. It means I'm thinking about you."
“Oh. That’s confusing.”
