She sat up, looking around curiously. She checked the house, frowning as she found nothing, before heading down to the shop.
She panicked upon the ship being gone, her heartbeat quickening as she looked around, hoping she would find him yet knowing she wouldn't. She picked up her wrench and threw it at the wall in frustration, tears springing into her eyes.
About an hour passed before she would hear the station powering up. The ship slid into place, and she would be able to see August at the helm, looking ruffled.
"I don't really know, to be honest," he said, looking over his shoulder. "I don't remember what happened last night."
She looked upset and he would be able to tell she had been crying. She shuddered, turning away from him uncomfortably.
