Snow was running through the woods when suddenly, 10 Ponies surrounded her. They all held halberds and speard, and closed in on her. Snow looked around at them, her magic felt almost completely exhausted, there was no way she could fight back. Then she felt the searing pain of a spear getting her in her flank, her vision turned red, then a massive explosion that would have been felt miles away and flattened a good part of the forest. Dark had been easily fighting off the attackers when she felt a searing pain in her flank. She looked, but she hadnt been stabbed. She looked up just in time to see a mushroom cloud sour into the sky, then the shockwave hit her.
Facade moved into Ponyville warily as all of his guards were killed in a ambush. His attackers were killed but his minions were lost. He looked around and spotted the green pegasus that irritated him to no ends and Zephyr. He trotted over to them and gave them a small, exhausted smile. "I take it both of you played in forcing the army to retreat? You two have information on why they attacked at all? Ponyville is a country side town."
"Well that's just me logic, Zeph. Besides, Have you ever had to run in circles fast enough to completely catch on fire?! Oh, yeah, you haven't." Fire turned to hear that one brown pegasus's voice. "Well if it isn't talky himself..."
Fire's comment only made Zephyr laughed louder. "Well maybe if you kept all of that flame inside of your flank you wouldn't have this problem." He snickered. "Besides I bet you couldn't even-" He was cut off by a voice to his right. "It was pretty fun, though I wish we didn't have to go through this sort of thing every week. Maybe they're all after the Elements of Harmony?"
Fire turned back to Zeph, "my fire spewing butt has to be the greatest thing I have ever been genetically given, thank you very much."
Edge trotted over to the group "hey guys! At least your still alive I had to kill so many of those things to get to Ponyville!" he said. He started to rubbed his back and brushed away some blue goo on his back he groaned and sat onto the blood soaked ground and layied onto the ground.
(No, we just decided to continue some character development and react to it in a bit. Think of it this way, from your perspective it just happened, but to our perspective it hasn't yet, though it will.)
Edge approached the group from behind and they caught up with one another. Through a moment of reprieve a few facts were able to be discerned about the attack. The reinforcements had retreated which explained a dwindling battlefield. The army was composed of many different forces, not just one. And they wanted something unique to Ponyville which was yet to be determined. Zephyr went to go ask how Edge had done in his part of the battle when the ground began to shake violently. He looked behind him to see a cloud of dust that had shot up into the sky. His attention was drawn to the ground which had a shockwave sweeping across it. It reached the group and knocked them all to the ground as the force from the explosion reached them. "Agh.. What now?!" Zephyr said from the ground.
Snow looked up, she was in a massive crater. One of her eyes was swollen over, with cuts and bruises all over her body. She looked at her right hind leg and could tell it was probably broken. But somehow, the spear would that had hit right on her cutie mark had entirely healed over, not even a scar was left. "Way to over do it essence! Now we are stuck in a crater, a broken leg and I can only see out of one eye!" Snow began limpimg her way up the sides of the crater, and When she finally reached the rim, all she could see was flattened woods extending off into the distance. Around were Ponyville should have been, all she could see were dim lights becaise of all the dust. "No let's get ourself to the doctor!" she told herself, and began limping to Ponyville, but collasped a lot due to exhaustion. About half way, she finally gave in to the urge to rest and fell asleep on the spot. Dark slowly got up. The shockwave had thrown her right into a house that was now leveled. The invaders had obviously either retreated entirely after the blast, or just all died or were still unconcious. Somehow, she knew Snow was behind this and then made her way through the sea of dead, unconcious, and extremely injured ponies and beasts.
Brave "I did say I was going to protect you, didn't I?" He meant for her to listen, but she was damn unconscious, so he was just talking to himself. Brave Cape hoped to balance the scales of whatever battle was going on there, but it seemed to end just as he arrived. Coincidence? Perhaps not... But it looked like it wasn't in vain. After quickly scouting the area both visually and magically, he suddenly detected two big, twin auras. He knew exactly who they were, and smiled for a brief moment before heading to the immobile's one. Now, he was carrying Snow on his back, slowly heading to encounter Dark Light. It did not take long though. Dark was at her limit as well, and could barely walk. She didn't even see him get close to her. Brave "I guess you have some valid targets for you to prank now. You don't see to be enjoying it much though." She lifted her head and immediately ran the sparing distance to check on her counterpart, or whatever relation they two had. Dark "Snow!" She said, completely dismissing his little joke. Brave "She's alive. I think." The unicorn gave him a grim stare. "Alright, no time for jokes. What now?"
Fire got up and brushed himself off with his wings, he flew up to get a better view and saw Brave with Snow on his back nd Dark. "over there." He said as he pointed towards Brave, Snow, and Dark.
Dark looked at Snow's limp body, hoping beyond hope that she would pull through. Dark knew that Snow caused that explosion, it just had essence magic written all over it. But an explosion of that size would be difficult for their combo, Snow Light, to even do. If that incident had pushed Snow over the preverbial edge, she be lost in that coma for Celestia knows how long. Dark was so focused on Snow that she payed no mind to the gathering ponies, no mind to her mind trying to slip into unconciousness, for if Snow died, she would die. They are two parts of a whole, you cannot have one without the other, Dark just stared as Snow was brought into the hospital, checked in, and stayed in the room beside Brave, waiting for Snow to wake up. There were so many needles in her that she resembled a pincushion, and she felt each and every one. Now, it was a matter of waiting, waiting for the moment that may not come.
(That's up to you to decide. We're about to dive into the contents of a big conflict and there's a summary at the first page in this thread. We time skipped so our OCs can assume that you've been here all along which is what we've done for everybody else.)
(It's not hard, just literally stroll up and be like "They're finally gone?" A huge battle just broke out so make yourself look a little beaten up from battle)
((I will be playing the loner again, don't worry I like it a lot. Let me finish eating and I will start posting. Oh might I suggest an OOC thread for this RP would run smoother.))
