Edge followed the fire trail that Firebreeze had made he started to follow but he started to breath heavily "Darn you! Iron lungs!" he heavily breathed he used his magic and made another 4 tentacles. He started to take better control of it the tentacles and started to run faster than ever he had finally caught up with here he smiled and grabbed a bucket and poured water all over her and he started to laugh.
Dark stood there in shock after the bucket was poured over her head, watching Edge laugh, then she started laughing evily. "Good one, uhh, Edge right?" suddenly more tentacles than they could count come out from her, and a black light shined around her, "Now its my turn." and the tentacles went on the offensive. The flung themselves at the pair, sending them flying if they passed too close to them, all the while she started glowing blacker and blacker, somehow getting brighter and brighter. (Second to last post for me)
Facade finally got back into town and saw the crazy Unicorn wreaking the town...again. Facade sighed as he watched her summon tentacles and slam into two ponies. "What to do...I'm not sure I really want to help this demented town but...I want my bits." He waved his hoof and yelled. "Oi! Crazy unicorn!" He saw he got her attention and he smiled as he poured out his mystical words hoping perhaps it may work. "You want to return to normal don't you? You want to stop destroying the town." He said loudly. He decided not to add in the bits in case he pushed it.
Zephyr hovered about in what seemed like a near lifeless state at the top of the sky. He soared around the brim of the troposphere dipping in and out on a conscious state. He breathing was deep and relaxed as drifted about. He hung his head back in the brisk cool air of the upper atmosphere and basked in it's bitter cold. As strange as it were, he was deeply relaxed and entranced by the bone-chilling cold which is probably what made him dip into sleep in the first place. A noisy ruckus echoes throughout the sky and his eyes shot awake sending a group of miniscule icicles that had been dangling on his eyelashes plummeting to the unforgiving ground miles below. A few loud voices could be heard as his eyes and ears worked in conjunction to track down the source twitching to and fro. He had been pulled back into reality and out of his seemingly meditative state as he spun himself around in the chilling air pointing himself towards the source of the disturbance. Ruffling his feathers and sending even more icicles to their unfortunate doom. With his wings free of their icy 'imprisonment' he quickly pulled them in and began to plummet down to the earth himself becoming a speeding blue streak dropping out of the night sky. The wind blew his mane back freezing it once more as he rocketed passed the shards of ice from before. The ground was getting ever more closer as the blue colt dropped out of the sky like a feathered rock and he shot his wings out sending an intense upward force across his entire body. Though his altitude had dramatically changed, his speed had remained constant and was ever increasing as Zephyr shot himself towards the mysterious sounds. (1)
Dark laughed manicaly at the pony that just wierdly asked her to stop her attack. "Do you know who I am?! I am Dark Light, the ultamite force of Darkness and Destruction, one does not simply ask me to stop destroy the town!" and proceded on with her ramage. Then the sun peeked out from the horizon, allowing the brown pony to get a through look at her, he saw a manical looking black pony with a fiery red mane and red eyes. But then they all saw her transform, quickly becomeing the snow-white pony they all knew. Snow seemed to hover there for a second and then she fell about 25 feet to the ground. "Ow" She got up rubbing her head, she looked at Firebreeze and Ace and asked, "What happened? I just sorta blacked out there."
Ace ran back to snows house in ponyvile. He looked around shocked what had happened while he was gone. He saw the others and ran to them "EVERPONY!" He pulled off his backpack. "I think I found a solution to our problem."
Zephyr swooped down and landed at the scene of the ruckus. The ground had been scorched with flames and some of the nearby grass had caught flame which began to melt a portion of the ice that had accumulated over Zephyr who seemed to have an icy aura about him. He looked over at Firebreeze and questioned. "What happened this time...?" he said as a buff of visible breath escaped his mouth with a huff, quickly disappearing in the heat of the nearby flame. He glanced over at Ace with a smile and hovered in the air excitedly. "You have? Well do tell, what is this miracle solution?"
Edge came back covered in scratches but he was again on his black like tentacles and ran up to the group "oh hi guys! I learned this from Dark and it is awesome!" he laughed. He was 10 feet in the air a d he slowly stsrted to desenced his hooves finally touch the ground. He looked around the group and saw Zephyr and the group but no Haze "so! Snow! Yeah maybe you should do something about that annoying Dark she seems more child like,". (1)
Ace nodded. "Something called the light bringer." he showed him the book "I stole this from the restricted area of the Canterlot library." It mentions that this happend to someone else a long time ago. Maby there is a way that we can stop this."
Snow looked at Zephyr ,"Oh hey Zeph, long time no see." and then turned back to Ace, "Your plan sounds risky, and I have no clue why Dark was acting the way she was. Its almost as if her first loss broke her spirit to be truely evil, and so just became an evil prankster. Ace, we'll need to look in on this before we go on some crazy adventure for some stone that may or may not exist. And Edge, I would suggest limiting the amount of corrupted magic you use, because the more you do, the more it gets into your system, and you might turn yourself into a corrupted. And Zephyr, how would you like to come with us and help?"
Zephyr flew over and slung his arm around Ace. He looked down at the book picking it up with his other hoof and examining it slightly. He released Ace and began hovering around him a bit while balancing the book on his hoof. "Ace" he began "Why did you need to steal this?" he said as he threw the book up and caught it with both hooves. "Considering recent events and how much of a problem this could turn into, I doubt the two sisters would deny its use." He gave a reassuring smile and hovered over in front of Ace handing him back the book. "After we're done using this it might be the best idea to brin it back explaining the situation. The restricted section is restricted for a reason and I doubt this will go unnoticed. It's best to let them know we needed it instead of leaving it to chance." he finished as he rubbed his hooves together While pulling his goggles down over his eyes which made his blown back hair relax over his eyes. "We should get to work then." he said with a wry smile still plastered on his face.
Edge scoffed "limit this!" he laughed, "I can think of hundreds of situations this can help" the tentacles started to come from his back and started to rise himself about 5 feet "so I'll be back!" he yelled "I need to cheek myself out of the hospital!". He started to walk towards the hospitial dodgeing every thing he sees.
"Edge! Edge stop! Your already corrupted with power, you must limit it to situations that nessatise it, not for everyday problems or for fun." She looked at him very seriously, "Do you want to have us deal with a SECOND corrupted. Because I have a feeling that every night, when Luna rises the Moon, Dark will try, and usaully succeed, to take over my body, and even in her current state look at all the damage she has cause!" Snow motioned to all the craters and fires around the plaza,"Ace, Zephyr, Firebreeze, you guys go ahead, I need to have a serious talk with Edge with his magic and try to teach him beginner essence to deter him". She caught up with Edge "Alright Edge, let's start with the basics, feeling your essence flow through you to unlock its potenial."
Ace Looked at him. "Than why put it in the restricted section?" He asked He looked over to snow. "I know its risky but its our only lead." we have to do something before you get corupted again."
Firebreeze slowly hovered over to get a good look at the book. "hmm... And... I'm bored." He landed back on the ground. Firebreeze never really cared for books, it's just one thing about him that'll never change. "Well, if that book is one of our only options, we should probably strongly consider it."
Zephyr shot a look of disapproval at Ace "Just because it's restricted doesn't mean it should never be used ever. It's restricted not illegal. The book was made and kept for a reason."
After all that, the only thing Brave Cape could do was to sigh. And after that, proceed to laugh. Brave "Hehe, damn. At least she doesn't want to destroy Equestria anymore... Still." He walked over to Snow and accompanied her as she followed Edge to the hospital. Between the pauses of her own explanation, he though out loud: Brave "You know, she is a part of you. Maybe you could absorb her, and be just like before the accident? I'd rather have your emotional break-out spells than Dark pranking around every night." ((1))
"I don't know Brave, it's risky. I don't even know it could work, and if it failed, you might have to get ready for Dark pranking around for awhile. It might be better if we just go with Ace's plan, but either way it's risky." She told him. "Now, we need to just keep an eye on Edge to make sure he doesn't get carried away with with his new powers."
Edge looked at Snow "Come on! You think I will be corrupted!" Edge laughed, "I can take care of myself I don't need to take lessons from you I will learn on the way!" he finally made it to the hospital. He lowered himself towards the ground and went through the doors with Brave and Snow following him he made it to the counter "I would like to cheak myself out," he said. "Ok who are you?" the lady asked. "Silver Edge," he said the lady went through the list and found him. "Wow you went through some beating," she gave him the board and Edge singed the paper Edge looked at Snow and smirked but suddenly his eyes started to twitch and Edge shook his head. "Well! I have nothing to do! I'll just practice my new powers!" he laughed the tentacles grew from his back and dashed off waving his hoof at the both of them. (3)
