Snow sighed, "You know Brave, he doesn't realize just how dangerous that magic is. Everytime he uses it, I see his magic aura get blacker, it's only a matter of time before it reaches that critical point. It's only a matter of time. Hey, you want to learn some tricks I've figured out for fighting corruption magic, as a just in case?" She asked Brave.
Brave "On Edge? Oh, you keep an eye on him. I'll keep mine on you, if you do not remember what I said before. I was going to let you rest and get used to the idea, but from the incident night, I can tell I'll have to start my duty right now. Brave "It happens to be that learning is my special talent! Well, sort of. I was actually going to ask if there was anything you could teach me while I'm... Well... Protecting you and all. And watching Edge." Brave Cape sighed. Brave "Let's hope I can learn something without being interrupted by Celestia knows what. Lead on."
Edge made it to a mountain and he had saw Brave and Snow he smirked "look! What I can do!" he yelled he started to grow more tentacles there were now 10 of then. He thrusted them all at a humonges boulder and it exploded into dust Edge started to laugh manically "you know! Snow!" he looked at her with a glare, "Mabye if you destroy Dark my power well be gone! I don't want that!". There were now 20 tentacles coming from his back and sixteen tentacles aimed at the both of you his aura was almost corrupted suddenly you remembered something. "His brain is also having some...problems. You see the smoke should have killed him, but his magic protected his brain cells from being destroyed. But something happened to the brain cells. We have yet to identify what exactly," Edge looked at you with a crazy look he was now Corupted and Insane.
"Edge!" Snow yelled as she dodged one of the tentacles," You don't want me to force you to cooperate!" Dodging another tentacle, she looked at Edge and then Brave, knowing what she had to do said, "Brave, watch in learn." She avoided yet another tentacle and then concentrated. When her eyes reopened, they glew a bright white and her horn glew white as well. The tentacles attacked her in mass and wrapped around her. Then a massive bright flash dissentigrated the tentacles, and Snow's essence was there. She looked at Brave, "This is what you can eventually get to." She said in an echoy voice. And then went to attack against the new tentacles.
"aw... Pretty little filly wants to battle me!" he crackled more tentacles had come from his back then nopony could count they went everywhere some throwing boulders at Snow and some coming right at her. His magic aura was now corrupted he had turned completely black even his pure yellow eyes had turned black. "Wow! Look at me I'm corrupted!" he laughed, "now lets see what this can really do!". His horn started to glow black it sucked the light of of the area and he was now giving off darkness. There where now over 100 tentacles coming from his back and he was coming at all directions with amazing speeds attacking Snow.
Zephyr hovered in the air directly next to Brave. The two of the stood and watched the battle spark in font of them and merely watched for a moment. Zephyr sighed heavily and pulled his goggles down over his eyes which let his hair fall back down into a more forward style. 'Let's go visit snow I said' he thought to himself, 'Nothing bad will happen this time I said, I always dem to find myself a part of these insane conflicts. Might as well make the best of it.' A smile spread across his face and he turned to look at Brave. "Shall we have some fun?" he said before raising himself up and shooting himself up through the air towards the battle. Tilting his wings to the side he veered himself in circles around Edge as he busied himself with Snow. Extending a hoof, he grabbed one of the tentacles and began to tie it together with the rest of them.
Snow grunted as she fought the tentacles. There was so many, they just kept coming, destroy one, 2 more appeared it seemed. then one got a lucky shot on her, knocking the essence from the sky. She slowly got up, "Brave! I need you to distract Edge real quick!" She looked up to see Zephyr hovering above her, "You too! But Zephyr, avoid the tentacles at all costs, Brave and I know how to prevent ourselves from being corrupted, but you can't perform it since its magic!" as the two ran at Edge, Snow looked deep inside her, her plan was risky, but it had to work. (Inside Snow's mind) "Dark! If your in there, I....I need your help." Snow heard Dark laugh, "So the pretty white pony needs my help, I dont know Snowy, I think he might corrupt the land again, and that is kinda my job, why should I help when I can just relaxe in here and watch him do my job for me" "Damn it Dark. Fine, how about a deal." "Hmm a deal, sounds interesting, and at least partly helpful to me." "Dark, if you go along with my plan, I promise that I will no attempt to destroy you, unless the fate of Ponyville and Equestria are at stake, for the rest of the month, and.. And you can takeover for an entire day" she mumbled. "Hmmm, oh alright fine, well if this plan doesnt work, I'll end up the one in command." "Shut up Dark and let's get to work." "Fiine" (Back on the outside) Snow looked up from the spot she had bewn staring at. 'You ready for this?' she heard Dark ask. She nodded, and suddenly there was another bright flash of ight and from a crater rose a pony none of them had ever seen. Even Edge had been stopped by its sudden appearence. It was made out if purely essence and magic, and seemed to swirl with white and black blobs of magic. Its wings slowly flapped and then with a voice that was half Snow's and half Dark's, said "Edge, you have gone far enough. Prepare to be purged!" and then dived straight for his head. He started laughing, but every tentacle he sent was disintegrated before it even got close to the weird pony. And then, it dived straight into Edge's mind to fight the corruption directly.
Firebreeze walked over and saw the battle going on. "Dammit Edge!" He thought, "at least it looks like Snow's got it under control... I hope."
Snow Light (That's what I'm calling the crossover) appeared on the desoulate plain visualzation of Edge's corrupted, crazed mind. It extended off in every direction from there to eternity. Then a shape started to take form, bubbly up from the surface. Then it formed, it looked like Edge, only it wasn't, then it spoke and Snow instantly reconized it. "Well well well, if it isn't the goody two shoes form of me. Bah, cooperating with a non-corrupted, disgaceful." said the evil (and when I say evil, I mean absouletly evil, like, the true essence of evil) form of Dark, "Your friend is quite... hospitable to live in. You see, after you absorbed me, a little bit of me stayed in Edge's weak and damaged mind. Ha, it was easy, unlike with your mind, I can chill out in here without resistance. Now, I'm guessing that you want to battle me and try to defeat me to save your friend. Well then, let's get this over with." and the battle for Edge's mind began. (This is the reason the new Dark is more of a prankster and less of a conqueror and destroyer, the truely evil part of her was left in Edge)
((If you need a good image of the machine here it is, it is called a Dreadnaught from Warhammer 40K: Edge smiled and suddenly 20 tentacles popped from the grounds he laughed and clapped his hooves and the tentacles took shape into dragons then 50 tentacles came from his back and formed around himself. It started to bubble and bulge and Edge was now the form of a strange like machine when he talked the voice was much more deep "Now! Lets see who can win!" suddenly the dragons came at quick speeds diving into the ground popping up again and again eyeing you, Edge laughed and a arm went up and fired 4 rockets at you. ((Outside of Edge's mind)) After Snow went into Edge's mind he had sent his corruption into auto he put the setting onto defensive. The tentacles disintegrated when Zephyr had tied them and reaperead out in the same place. The tentacles smarmed Fire, Brave, and Zephyr trying to trap Brave and corrupt Fire and Zephyr.

Snow Light easily doged the missiles fired at her and swooped and and hit the machine with massive force, punching a hole right through it. "Come on Dark, you have to give up." the Snow part of Snow Light said. "This is fun!" was all the the Dark part of her said, and then started to attack again. (Remember guys, this isn't the big adventure, so try to limit the time this takes. This is sorta a clean-up operation, I will let you know when the big adventure comes around)
Firebreeze ran from the attacking tenticles. He flew up, scorching an area in the ground. His fire trail soon burned the tenticles following him, but he was soon attacked by two coming from the front. Instead of turning around, He closed his wings and began to fall. He opened up his wings and glided to the ground and began to run from the new attacking tenticles.
Brave "Oh yes, we shall." He grinned, but then he made a strange expression. Brave "Since when do I play and make jokes with monsters around?" He sighed, but then smiled again as he tied more tentacles using his horn. Brave "Oh no you won't!" His horn glowed, fast and intense, and suddenly a shockwave of energy was unleashed from Brave's body, repelling the tentacles long enough to... Brave "Focus... Focus... Focus... Focus... Focus..." As the tentacles swarmed in again, he opened his eyes, ready for whatever Edge could throw him. He gracefully darted through the monstrosities Stained Edge ((the name I invented for Corrupted Silver Edge)) created and eventually hop'ed on one of them, running towards the source: the corrupted unicorn himself. Then his entire forehead shined to enourmous heights ((Remember Twilight Sparkle's horn when she was handling the Ursa Minor problem? Something around that)) and Brave Cape closed his eyes... And a huge ray of pure light flashed, right in front of Edge, purging all the tentacles momentarily, blinding and dazzing him off. He jumped to safety, exhausted from the task he had accomplished. Brave "This should have weakened Edge somehow... I hope this helps, Snow..."
(Inside Edge's mind) The infection Dark had changed shapes once again, this time a giant snake. This has to be the fifth shape she's taken, Snow Light thought. Then a bright flash appeared in Edge's head, it seemed to distract the bad Dark enough to were her real self was revealed. "Time to go Dark!" and Snow Light charged, her horn glowing and upon impact, Dark exploded in a flash of light, and Edge's mind almost instantly started clearing up. It was getting brighter and more friendly and Snow Light left, knowing the job was done. (Outside Edge's mind) Brave, Firebreeze, and Zephyr were standing back as Edge had started screaming like a banshee when the infecting part of Dark was being destroyed. In a bright flash of light, not just Snow reappeared, but Dark did as well, and Edge had passed out, all his tentacles dissentigrating as the corruption was forced from his body. Snow saw her friends about to about to try to attack Dark so she held up a hoof, "Its ok guys, she fine now." Dark smiled, not crazily, but a genuinely happy smile. "You see guys, what we found in there was Dark's bad part, as long as it existed, this Dark would be at least slightly bad, but now that its gone and destroyed, she's perfectly fine. Though she probably will still be a prankster." and to everypony's surprise, they put an arm around each other and started laughing with each other like they were best friends.
Zephyr darted in and out of a cavalcade of tentacles. He ducked and weaved in and out of the black mass that had been trying to engulf him desperately. One of the many tentacles swung at him from above, but Zephyr quickly adjusted his wings and quickly shot to the left. Another tried to collide with him horizontally, however the blue colt lowered himself slightly and grabbed hold of his attacker spinning himself under and over the limb which in turn sent him flying over about 10 others that had been chasing him. Zephyr tucked in his wings and landed on the confused tentacles and sliding down their backs. Reinforcement came from the right as they lunged themselves toward him once more, though as retaliation Zephyr dropped onto his back and watch the tentacle fly right over him. He rolled off the side of the mass and came face to face with his previous attacker, to at which point he immediately taunted it. The limb reached out at him, but Zephyr flew backwards over the mass of tentacles, then in and out of their confused bodies. He skid himself along the ground with his wings outstretched in a fashion meant to slow him down. Pulling one in he slid himself around and faced his attacker once more, but it stopped just before his face. Zephyr had managed to tangle up the mass of tentacles. Giving a victorious smile to the defeated beast, the black mass conceded by lowering it's stance before disappitating once more. Zephyr turned around with his grin still on his face. "He doesn't really seem to be doing anything, what'ya think Snow's doin in there?" he said over the noise Without him realizing the swarm of tentacles sprouted out of Edge's back once more and lunged themselves at the blue colt in vengeance. Zephyr turned out flatfooted and was unable to get out of the way in time, the limbs reached out and grabbed at his face, but before they could physically reach him a bright light shone off to the side and they became dazed. Shaken, Zephyr got up off of the floor and flew back out of range and landed next to Brave. "Thanks man, thought I was worm chow there for a moment." He laughed. Looking over at Edge he noticed something peculiar, he had stopped moving and his eyes had rolled up into the back of his head, though this was difficult to see with the swarm of limbs that had sprouted out of his back. Zephyr sighed and sat in the grass. "Doesn't look like he's conscious, so we're stuck out here being useless unless you've got a trick up your sleeve." He chuckled to himself. "A trick up your sleeve, that'd probably be Ace." He laughed slightly at his own joke. Laying down in the grass he looked up at the clouds and ignored the sound of tentacles whipping through the air in front of him. "We always get the boring parts." Suddenly Edge began to scream and he shot up from his resting position ready to attack.
Firebreeze looked at the 'new' dark, "I'm still not entirely sure if I trust her... I'm keeping an eye on you." He briefly pointed at Dark. He then sat down, "Well, that was at least a bit exciting..."
Brave Cape just stared at Snow and Dark for a few seconds. Brave "... Right. I suppose my protection services are no longer needed. BUT, as stubborn as I am, I'm going to stay anyway." Until he remembered. "... Cause I kind of live here. You know. Either way, it's been a long day, and I would love some kind of sleep. Any kind of sleep. Like passing out!" And so he did.
