He glances around the house, trying to get a feel for it. Not too much different than mine, he mused. Just what it's made out of. He turned to Snow during her question and flinched when he saw her eyes. She looks like she's staring right through me... what is with these land ponies? But he said none of that, as it was all in his head. He drew a hoof over his mane and squeezed the water out of it. "I was... uhh... travelling here. The storm only caught me off guard. I hadn't expected the weather unico- pegasi to schedule such a huge storm at this time. What's gotten into their heads?" You're not on the island any more, Kleft. Get used to it.
"This isn't a weather pony thing." Dark told Kleft, going next to Snow, "This storm, it isn't natural. A storm of this magnitude has never been seen before, and as far as I know, it covers all of Equestria. Something tells me something is behind this storm, more than any of us could guess, and I didn't get to be Protector of the Capital Region because my of bad guesses."
Kleft frowned. All of Equestria? Perhaps the land ponies aren't the problem here... "Protector... right." He scrunched his face, eyeing her up and down. "Not like we can do anything in this weather, though. When will it stop?"
Snow and Dark looked at each other, "Well, it'll end when it ends. We simply don't know." They said in disturbing unity
"...Intrude?" Quickstar looked over to see Intrude comforting March, who seemed quite upset by the sudden downpour. I'll just give them a minute first. Quickstar started pacing as he began to think. Now, this is clearly not a natural storm, so something must have made it. If something made it, then something must be maintaining it. In order to see that, somepony needs to get above the cloud cover. Let's see...didn't I meet the captain of the weather team last night at the party? Oh yeah, Rainbow Dash, that was her name! But her build was light and agile. If she tried flying in these winds, she'd just get tossed about like a leaf. I need somepony with more endurance and muscle, somepony who can force their way through the wind and rain without batting an eye... "Excuse me, Intrude? Who's the strongest flier you know here in Ponyville? I need someone with wings that can get through this weather and see what's above the clouds. Do you know a pegasus like that?"
Outside, the roar of wind and rain suddenly stopped, but the deafening silence was soon replaced by an even louder sound, the sound of a voice, "ATTENTION CITIZENS OF EQUESTRIA, YOU MAY BE WONDERING WHAT THAT STORM WAS ALL ABOUT, WELL, HERE'S YOUR ANSWER. IT WAS CAUSED BY ME, TREMALION, THE KING OF STORMS, AND I HAVE RETURNED TO EQUESTRIA TO FREE YOU FROM THE OPPRESSIONS OF YOUR DICATOR AND TRAITOR CELESTIA, FOR YOU SEE, EQUESTRIA WA BORN A DEMOCRACY, EQUAL FOR ALL! BUT YOUR 'BELOVED' PRINCESS DECIDED THAT SHE DESERVED MORE POWER THAN SHE HAD, AND CROWNED HERSELF PRINCESS OF THE LAND! I AM HER BROTHER, AND I MERELY SEEK TO RESTORE EQUESTRIA TO IT'S PROPER GOVERNMENT. I WILL ACCEPT THOSE WHO SUPPORT ME WITH OPEN ARMS, AND I SHALL DO THE SAME WITH MY ENEMIES, BUT IF YOU GET IN MY WAY, YOU WILL BE SWATTED AWAY." there was a pause, "MY ELEMENTS, I KNOW YOU'RE THERE, I SUMMON YOU BEFORE ME!" before anyone could even react, 9 bolts of lightning struck down from the sky, and the next thing the Elements knew, they were sprawled in front of two armored alicorns, the larger one having a storm grey coat, eyes that seemed to be made of lighting, and a grey streaked mane that made it look like lightning striking out from clouds. The smaller of two had a light blue coat, with eyes as deep as the ocean, with his calm, orderly mane was a bluish shade of purple. The armor the two wore looked extremely intricate and superior to anything that the Elements had ever seen before, "Ah, welcome." The larger of the two said a voice like thunder, "I believe it's time we finally get to met."
Intrude looked around frantically for March. Her horn glowed automatically. "March? What? Where's.. March?!!" she called.
After a moment to gather his wits, Quickstar examined the two alicorns he had suddenly been teleported in front of, tallying the information he had so far. The story they had told, the storm they had conjured, even the designs of the armor they wore, and was only able to conclude one thing. These ponies were not to be taken lightly. As with all sudden situations, the gathering of information was of utmost importance, but doing so carelessly here would probably get him killed. So it would be best to start off with the sort of question they would expect to be asked. "Elements? Elements of what?"
"He will be right where you left him upon your return, which shall be soon." The grey one said, "I just wanted to tell you 9 some things before I continue my mission to restore Equestria's legitatment government. You are the new Champions of my Elements of the Ancients. When I release you, you will find all your abilities slightly increased, and the ones directly correlated to your Element shall increase more than ten fold. I want you to also to realize just why I am doing this. Though it gives me a grieving heart to have to forcibly remove my sister via military power, it must be done. She betrayed the very government she helped create, all because she wanted more power. Celestia just wants you to think highly of her, when she is deserving of no such respect. I want you to know that we fought a long and terrible civil war trying to remove her from power, to accept the life we had to live. But no, she would never give up, and she ended up killing each and every one of your predecessors. She banished me and Heculius from our own home for over a thousand years. Please, just listen to me, and help me restore the true Equestria. Are you with me, against me, or maybe on the fence?"
Fire curtsied before the two brothers. "I accept your offer and I shall be loyal to you. Doing whatever you need. I was getting annoyed at the princesses anyway". Her voice was calm and mellow. Yet also strong and loyal.
"Perhaps...if you are willing to meet my price. I've never had a chance to study alicorn magic before. Provide me that opportunity with your magic, and you might just have my loyalty." That was what Quickstar said, but it was far from what he meant. Maybe they were telling the truth. Maybe this "democracy" would be better. Maybe all these ponies gathered here really were some bearers of a lost set of Elements. But from the actions of this Tremalion so far, Quickstar was far from willing to give his allegiance so thoughtlessly. Of course, with the power they possessed, he assumed any answer other than 'yes' would risk unpleasant consequences, but as long as he was one of these 'Elements of the Ancients', he had leverage. Even so, he felt it would be best to ensure he had a measure of...insurance...to make sure he'd be free to hear both sides of the story before making his final decision.
Intrude hissed a little at Fire's response. Angrily, she looked at the two. "What right do you have to demand that we help?" she asked indignantly. "Obviously, you have trouble with Celestia. So that means that if we don't join you, we get hurt?" She said, stung by being taken away from her brother. Nopony separated them. Nopony.
Crimson and Lancer wanted to discover what had caused this cloud. Their bond to each other is all but unbreakable as they got some equipment ready for what would be known as their "Unscheduled trip." Lancer took her bow and arrow and told her workers that the tavern would be closed until further notice while Crimson got two pistols and a sword which he left from his last trip to Lancer's. They said their goodbyes to the workers and headed towards the eye of the storm, and only left Ponyville for a few minutes. It was then when Lancer was enveloped in a strange aura. Crimson knew exactly what was going to happen and grabbed his cousin exactly when she teleported.When they arrived, they were in the view of an Alicorn, several strangers and an entire army. Crimson and Lancer looked at each other puzzled but Lancer eventually was the first to speak when somepony mentioned democracy. "Hello there, but i understand that Celestia has never told us exactly what democracy is because it would endanger her rule. She is beginning to become more like a tyrant rather then a benevolent leader she used to be." Lancer politely asked. Crimson then added to her discussion. "I have heard stories in Canterlot that ponies who questioned her were taken away in the middle of the night and tortured. Things up there are beginning to get tense and the guards are beginning to become more hostile until one day she ordered her guards to massacre her own people somewhere in the city. I remember that day, the massacre almost turned into a Revolution." "Sorry if we haven't introduced ourselves." Lancer said. "My name is Lancer Sapphire and i own The Dragon's Dance tavern in Ponyville and this is my older cousin Crimson Lionheart from Snowville. If whatever you're planing will stop Celestia from butchering her own people like a mindless maniac, you have our word."
Dreamer just stood looking around at everything around him. He remained silent as ponies spoke with the alicorns and each other, his brain adding this, a .01% chance of happening event, into his memories to begin making all the possible future outcomes, and there were too many for him to do anything but think. His head almost began to hurt, and was almost willing to, as soon as he could talk, immediately agree, just for the chance to have better control over the curse that was his talent. But he knew better than to just throw his hat in with a fancy magic show just for one reason, especially when they were doing something so large and important to the future.
"This is bulls**t" Tyler said annoyed "aint nopony gonna take down Celestia" Tyler quickly picked up a tomato and threw it at the cloud "CELESTIA IS A GREAT RULER"
(Crimson: No guns, Equestria ain't that advanced. Also, there would have been no way for Crimson to grab Lancer in time, after all, lightning facilitated their teleportation.) Tremalion chuckled at Intrude's response, "You really think I would try to force you to accept me? If I am to emplace a democracy into Equestria, then what kind of precedent would that set? I guarantee to each and every one of you that if you support me in this fight, and see it to a swift, easy conclusion, Celestia, Luna, Heculius and I will retire to a private life, we have no intention of taking control of the democracy we want inplaced." "I will help you, Mr. Tremalion, only if you promise to protect Mark Co's assests for during and after this little government change." Snow said, her inner CEO already thinking of ways to use this democracy to Mark Co's favor, "And I'm sure Dark will support you as well, right Dark?" Dark simply stood with a blank expression on her face, "I'm sorry Snow, but I am the Protector of the Capital region and responsible for the well-being and defense of all those inside...I cannot help this....I'm sorry." "But...but Dark..." snow started to plead, her face clearly astonished by Dark's decision. "I'm sorry Snow, it is my duty." Dark said before turning to Tremalion and Heculius, "I appricate the offer, but I simply cannot leave my duty as Master Protector and a Royal Guardsmare. Just, send me to Canterlot." The two brothers looked at each other, then Heculius waved a hoof and Dark seemed to dissolve in a warm breeze that would take her to Canterlot. "Element of Knowledge, I understand your doubts, maybe you should go ask Celestia herself, be careful though, she's a great liar." Heculius said before doing the same to Quickstar.
"Seems a bit risky sending her back to Canterlot my lords. What if she warns the princesses in advance". Fire then turned to Snow. "I am sorry for your partners disloyalty. Perhaps she will see reason when you arrive back to and dethrone who she is sworn to protect".
(Snow: Ok, i'll just change it so that Lancer has introduced herself and that Crimson is left alone and was never teleported. Ignore the bits about Crim on the last post.) Crimson noticed the sudden disaperance of his cousin in a sudden white flash. He fell on his face accidentally and looked in a mixture of shock and confusion. He questioned the safety of his cousin but wanted to know exactly what happened. Crimson pulled his sword out and looked around the path for anything cautiously but found nothing. He then looked at the sky and thought that Lancer might have been taken to the source. However, Crimson had no idea where the source was to being with and with no lead Crimson headed the way that he was traveling before without a backup plan. He might have lost his birth parents, but he will not lose his cousin. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lancer looked at Tremalion in awe at his power, but also secretly thought how intimidating he was thowards her. She knew full well not to harm him or say something bad thowards him. I hope he cant read minds... Lancer thought as she looked at Quickstar dissolve, I wonder what he is going to do with me, remove my wings, send me to the middle of nowhere, or maybe worse. But i doubt that, he seems like a really nice guy. Lancer thought about her cousin again, it was lucky that Crimson just happened to be heading towards the same direction they were originally traveling. Maybe she will meet up again when this is over or maybe get help for the fight ahead. Crim might be able to help her, help Tremalion and help Equestria at once. But had no idea about how he would react to him, but assumed that any ponies he can get to join him is welcome and Crimson might prove valuable.
