Facade scowled at the scene, but didn't say a word not wanting to cause another escalation. "Take him away to a room or some such. We need to discuss our battle plans now. DarkShine can catch up with the plan later." Facade said. He stayed the room to make sure his orders were followed.
Dark Shine shook his head slowly. "I... Am not... Missing anymore... I want to... Hear..." He shakily got off of the chair and stumbled his way to the amulet. He plonked himself down next to it, sighed, then put it on.
"So how are we gonna beat this Pain guy, anyway?" Fire said, calming down rapidly, "Neither Dark, me, or Arrows could hurt him in the least bit."
"Well, I have been making some weapons that could potentially help. They're no Elements of Ancients but they might at least be able to at least faze Pain. Just to be safe, lets wait until we have the Elements."
"Of course. This is no longer the brute force game that you are far to familiar with Firebreeze. We are going to have to outwit Pain. Now the first thing we should do is set our first objective. Free the guard commander? Or find Pain's overall plan. Does he actually plan to blow Canterlot? Why? But we can not take on Pain head on. We will fail."
"I honestly don't think he would blow Canterlot. There are too many resources there he could possibly use and, if he did he would have no political control over Equestria what so ever. Entire armies would revolt against him." Arrows thought, while polishing his new bow
"Or. It could throw Equestria in complete chaos, leave us without any form of government and leave Equestria vulnerable to a dictatorial takeover. Ponies are not naturally fighting creatures. I doubt revolt will occur. Perhaps the other races will come. But they will take over as well."
Dark Shine wobbled onto his feet. "What..... About... Winter? He.... Has not... Appeared yet... I asked him.... To try to get.... The rest... Of the Elements..."
"I say we free Dark first," Fire said, "Who knows what they're doing to her, we can't just leave her hanging."
Dark Shine nodded. "You'll... Need a... Distraction... Since you have already taken a beating, I dont mind... I'm starting to recover and I can take a beating."
"I'll do the distracting here, Dark Shine." Fire said, "It'll hurt, but i'm sure I'll be able to take a few more punches than you anyway."
Facade shook his head and stamped his hood."I won't argue to much. But know that this will reveal the fact that we are still in the city and we are willing to fight. He will consider us a threat and worse we will be blind to his plans. Rescuing Dark is not our most effective course..." Facade said his face betraying no emotions.
"I have a plan." Arrows pulled out a map of Canterlot. "Firebreeze, your the distraction stage. You'll plant some bombs on this wall. Get out of range and blow them up. It'll lure guards to you, but that's where Facade and Dark come in.They'll be the Diversion Stage. They'll lure them away from Firebreeze, and split them up. Then, me and Snow will begin the division stage. We'll come in and take out the guards. at that point we swarm in and take Dark back while trying to avoid Pain.Is everypony up for it?" asked Arrows
Dark Shine shook his head. "I wasn't asking. You and Facade can learn to work as a team." He stopped shaking, and looked at the amulet, which had closed itself.
Just outside the room in the bunker, a flash appears as if fate had just anounced that he'd forgotten something and appologetically dumps yet another disturbence on the group. A tiny claw grips the door frame as it pulls the rest of it's form into sight along with the coughing fit. Sulphy had, it would appear, been teleported in. "Sulphealious, loyal servant of princess -" He breaks down into another loud hacking solo, "Luna, reporting for -" He's cut off again by his hacking. With most of it all gone, he tries to get out his message, clutching something orange and glowing. "I was sent here by Princess Luna. Her and Tyro are in Canterlot, searching for clues about Pain. He said to, ugh...Stick with you guys so he can send me a message. Man, I hate being his carrier pidgeon..." Sulphy then presented the group around the war room a pendant on a chain. The metal around it curved like tails and it's surface was warped slightly by heat. In the centre, rested a jewel that appeared to be glowing like a heart beat with it's rythmic pulses. A constant heat glare rose from it. "Luna seemed rather scared of it. Tyro called it a Mestari Tuli but I ain't mever heard of a jewel like that. Somehow, its too hot to eat too. He even spoke to it for a bit. Oh...does anypony know how to male a psychic link? The Princess said you can talk to it that way." Sulphy counts off the message in his head, making sure he got it all. "There. That's it. I got nothing else. See you around, 'cos I'm hungry." With that Sulphy tosses the pendant onto the table and walks out the room. The pendant begins to char a small area of the table around it.
"I don't care, Darkshine. It more strategy than anything. And Facade, this is about morals, that's our friend in there." Fire said.
Dark Shine shook his head. "Before anythi- Whats that on the table?" He then looks to the gem in confusion, tilting his head as he did.
Dark Shine went to touch it, before withdrawing his hoof with a burn mark on it. "Ouch. Thats hot. Anyway, Fire, you got knocked clean out before. You can burn Dark out or something if there is anything flammable. Besides, the amulet protects me as much as I protect it."
The bunker suddenly rumbled from the sound of thunder, then a very familiar voice blasted out, "PAIN! YOU ARE A DECLARED ENEMY OF EQUESTRIA AND THE WORLD, WOULD YOU LIKE TO COME OUT AND SURRENDER OR DIE LIKE THE COWARD YOU ARE!" rumbled Tremalion's Thunder Voice, so loud that it would put Luna's Royal Canterlot Voice to shame. "It appears the Calvary has arrived." Snow said sarcastically.
