Firebreeze picked up the gem and examined it, "Odd... Somepony please get that little fellow that brought this thing back in here? And fine, Dark, but you better hope you can put a up a damn good fight with that Pain jerk."
Karls ears picked up the noise, but he only rolled over to the left side as he slept on, without a care in the world. Although he grumbled a bit and said in his sleep, "Veres Nake Murr..." He grumbled and continued sleeping.
Outside, the royal four stood in a circle around Pain "Hah! Finally you arrive! I've been looking forward to facing the first generation of your family! After I'm done with you four, I will go on to strike down the others!" "No, as you have attacked our city, killed our ponies, and holding a royal guard Master Protector hostage, now we shall end you!" Celestia said angrily at Pain. "Ohhh, I'm quivering in my boots." Pain taunted. "You shall learn why you shouldn't mess with Equestria, or its leader!" Heculius said to Pain. "Oh no, mister Prince of Calm is getting mad! I fear for my life!" Pain retorted. "ENOUGH! I have had it with your taunting Pain, now you fall!" Tremalion said, before slipping into his essence form, followed by each other leader. Soon, four alicorns made of pure essence magical power surrounded Pain, Tremalion's an electric yellow, Celestia's a pure white, Luna's a navy blue, and Heculius' a sky blue. "Bring it on!" Pain said, armor covering his body, "I've been looking forward to a good fight!"
A guard pony pushes Sulphy back into the room. Currenltly in a strop, Sulphy marches in to the room again, scowling at everypony in the room. "What? Your keeping me from my crunchies." He anoumces to the room, crossing his arms.
"I have a feeling their attack wont bloody work... I'm gonna use logic here and say we back off." Fire said, still looking at the gem.
The Royal essence's flew at Pain, trying everything to hurt him, but he reacted to quickly and that armor of his seemed to let him interact with essence's without being incinerated by their power. Soon, all of them had been sent flying back, slamming into walls, signs, etc, before they finally were forced out of their essence form and lay collapsed on the ground. Pain grinned triumphantly as he approached Tremalion, though it was concealed by his mask, "I am the ultimate fighter, you cannot stop me!" he said as he placed his hoof on Tremalion's neck, ready to break it. "Oh, but we can, maybe not now, but later." Tremalion said before rolling out of underneath Pain's hoof and sweeping him off his legs, "I will not let you ruin Equestria! I've tried to hard to work for the betterment of it to back down now!" Tremalion said to Pain, who easily got onto his hooves. "Hehe, coming from the guy who spent more than a thousand years in banishment and tried to invade this country." Pain said, "Now, onto business." He was about to punch Tremalion in a charge when suddenly CLANG, a large metal pot hit with right on the top of the head and he silently fell to the ground. Tremalion looked up to see Dark flying in alongside Heculius, "Thanks for distracting him Tremalion, but he probably won't be out for long." the other royals nodded and they flew away. (Oh ow, plot twist!)
"Why, what a surprise! Firebreeze using logic!" Facade said with a laugh. "But you see this is just what we were looking for! A distraction! We need to act quickly. Split up the group. One after the plans. The other after dark!"
"I should lead the group for getting Dark." Snow said, "I can make a connection to her and trace her down due to some certain...history pretaining to how we met." even though most in the room knew the truth about Dark, some still didn't and she intended to keep it that way.
Karl the bottle of vodka and began drinking out of it as he watched the royals fly away. "Heh, they know how to deal with things, alright." He smiled groggily and looked down on Pain. "Next time pal." He said as he threw the bottle to shatter it beside Pains unconscious head. He then went and picked up his gear and departed for the vault. "Hope it's still left." He said as he jumped from building to building.
"Alright. I'll take one to the plan. Any group that finishes first. Try and make it to the guard barracks and free them. The chaos in the streets should allow an easier take down of Pain if we can achieve the power to do it! Now quickly. We don't have much time. Snow. Who do you want with you?"
((Eat dinner then come back to see 3 pages)) Gaze lost his concentration when that loud thunder voice shook almost everything he put away his music to see that the whole group was talking about something Gaze stood up and leaned over to the group to see what was happening.
After the bottle shatter next to Pain, suddenly his sides starting shaking with laughter, he rolled over to reveal that in the battle, he had swiped each ruler's symbol of power, Celestia's and Luna's crown, Tremalion's gilded helmet, and Heculius' armband. He then flipped over and walked into the throne room, "Time to activate the emergency protocol." he said evily happy.
Karl stopped upon hearing his friend laugh. "Didn't think he would actually make it." He said as he started making his way back to Pain.
Suddenly the streets of Canterlot were filled with a the sound of a prerecorded message, "The Emergency Protocol has been activated by the Royal Family. Please evacuate the area. You have 5 minutes." the message then repeated, down in the vault Snow said, "That's no good."
"Hold on there, mate! Can't let you do that." Came a voice that echoes around the throne room. Tyro's paw pads barely make a noise on the ruined carpet. He stands in his own, light Element armour, twin tails high in the air. "Now you can either put them down or you can blast me with raimbows before I kick your flank. What's it to be?"
Karl walked inside the royal palace looking for his russian comrade. "PAIN, where are you!?" He shouted, casting his echo all over the castle.
"Eeyup, pretty much, its saying we have to leave Canterlot before it goes up like a megaspell." Snow said, picking up a sleeping Midnight and placing him on her back, "We better go!"
