Gaze had gotten out of the awkward situation but at least he was full so he could get some bits to stay somewhere here he trotted off to the marketplace where hundreds of ponies were exchanging food and other assortments. Gaze searched for a less crowded spot so he could have room to play he needed arm distance away from everypony he later found a spot neat some houses but was still pretty close to the market place. He got his pouch on his back and reveled a secret compartment he took them out and it was 7 stars the size of a bottle cap he threw the pouch onto the ground with its flap open he opened his mouth and threw the star inside. After a few seconds he spat them back out with an occasional glance from somepony thinking he is a weirdo. Suddenly the stars on his hooves began to grow and levitated off Gaze's hoof it began to grow bigger until it became the size of a head then a strange clear substance exited the star's center and formed a sphere around the stars. Soon the transformation ended revealing several stars floating in a clear sphere all bunched together in a group. Gaze stood up on his back legs and started to moved his arms and with every gesture he made multiple stars glow and make a note he then started to make a song.
After finishing his sandwhich, Dark Shine got up and stretched, not caring for what anypony thought of him. However, it did make him look a bit silly. He then recomposed himself and got up. He looked around for something to do. He heard some sort of noise but decided not to bother. He decided to do a fly around Ponyville. After all, whats the point of having wings if you walk everywhere. He smiled before launching himself into the air. He looked around. The noise was coming from a place near the market place, where he just was. Once again, he did not bother to take a look into it. He then flew higher and looked more around. Still nothing of interest. He just hovered in the air, looking for something of interest.
As the caped pony reached Ponyville, he decided to take a stop at one of the markets in town. He walked to the side of a building and started quickly climbing up. Once he was at the roof, he immediately started galloping to the edge. Once he met it, he jumped, sailing gracefully in the air for a brief moment of time before landing on the next roof. He repeated the combination, stopping at one time to glance up in the air at the gray pegasi hovering in the air, making a bit of a problem for him to remain unseen, as that was his plan for today. He reached a roof with a nice view of the market and sat down on the front edge of the building, looking out over the homefeeling view infront of him. Ponies all around looking for things to buy, others negotiating about prices, and others just tagging along. He remembered the view for about a year ago. Then, it was deserted, leaving everything to just be taken. But now was not the time to remember things, now it was the time to relax and enjoy what life had in store for him.
They finally gave me some leave! I can wait to see the look on Snow's and Winter's faces!, Dark Light thought as she flew through the air at max speed, almost making a sound cone in front of her. She was going so fast that she zipped right by Dark Shine and didn't even know it, and she also almost crashed into Snow's house. After landing, she composed herself and knocked on the door. It was Snow who answered, and she immediately wrapped Dark into a bear hug, "Hey Dark! Did they finally get you some leave?" she asked as she pulled herself off Dark. "Well, yea, I think that is fairly obvious, no where's the little guy, I haven't seen him in almost a year now!" Dark said excitedly. "Well he's right this way!"
Rashall had spotted Dark Light at a distance and decided, just this once, to go and say hello before returning to his home in the shadowed forest. He walked down from the hill towards where Dark Light had landed, but at a nice slow constant pace as he didn't feel rushed to get there.
Dark Shine flinched as Dark Light zoomed past. "Woah!" He said, looking around. While looking around, his eyes caught the image of a robed figure on a roof. He thought he'd leave it for now, but if he caused any trouble to deal with it.
After about 30 minutes Rashall came upon Snow's house, or so he thought it was. He sat down at about half way to the house and brought some food out of his pack, he didn't feel like eating somepony elses food while he had his own and he was still enjoying the outside air. So without further waiting he brought out a sweetcake and started to eat enjoying every single bite.
Dark alongside Snow entered Midnight's playroom to see the little purple guy in a small block fort, "Mommy!" Midnight said, running out from the fort and running to Snow, causing Dark to chuckle from the cuteness. "Now, now Midnight, say hello to your aunt." Snow scorned playfully. With that, Midnight turned and hugged Dark's leg saying, "'Ello aunty Dark!" Dark smiled even wider, "Cute kid." she muttered to Snow, who nodded in agreement.
Rashall noticed with a start that he haden't brought anything to drink, the fault being his own, and that the sweetcake had left him thirsty. Packing his things up he walked up to the front door of Snow's house and knocked on it three times and then waited.
Snow heard a knock on the door, "Don't worry Winter, I got it!" Snow called over her shoulder, "I'll leave you and Midnight to play around." Snow said to Dark before going full speed to the door, almost sliding into it trying to stop. She recomposed herself and opened the door to Rashall, "Oh, hello Rashall! What brings you to our neck of the woods?"
"Hiya Snow, I was just wondering if I could have a glass of cold water, forgot my own water bottle at home it would seem," says Rashall smiling.
"Oh, yea, of course! Come on in while I get you it." Snow said, motioning Rashall inside, "Dark's upstairs right now playing with Midnight and Winter is probably pooped out in our bedroom right now."
"Heh I bet it is hard work keeping up with the little one, I've had to take care of Aurora for a long while she could be a hoof full when she wanted to be," says Rashall lying his pack next to the door.
Snow rolled her eyes in exasperation, "Don't even get me started." she said, "But at least in a year or two we'll be able to send him off to Kindergarten. Anyways, sit back and relax while I go get a drink for you." Snow said before disappearing into the kitchen.
Rashall sat down on a nearby couch and just gazed around the living room. He had never been to Snow's house before but it was quite nice.
Snow came back levitating a glass of water, "Here you are." she said, placing it next to Rashall, "You know, you should really stay for dinner." Snow offered.
Rashall gladly took the glass of water and drank some before answering, "If you insist then I guess I will stay," he says still looking around.
"Thank you Rashall." Snow said smiling, "Expect a big dinner, we always cook a large meal the day Dark comes home on leave."
"I'll remember that then," says Rashall with a smile. (got to go to class be back later today once I go to work.)
The caped pony turned to face the right edge of the roof. He standed up calmly and trotted over to the edge. He started climbing down, and once he reached the ground, he trotted out of the alley. He continued trotting, passing by Snows house, in which he stopped for a while and burst a small smile on his face. "Heh, i wonder how they're doing with the kid..." he thought to himself before going back to trotting. He was heading towards a house at the end of town, that had been deserted for quite a while.
