(WEE, a few hour skip!) Later that night, Snow had made a large, country/home styled dinner and had it laid out on the table. The table itself was a large oval, able to sit about six ponies total. Snow, Winter, and Midnight in a high chair sat on one side while Dark and Rashall sat at the other. "So, what do you think?" Snow asked the two guests.
Rashall turned his ear right before he heard the knock at the door, "I think you might want to make room for at least two more," he says getting up to get the door.
"I'll go grab an extra chair." Winter said, disappearing, and Snow had to hold Midnight back from trying to bury his face in the food.
Rashall opens the door and is nearly tackled by Aurora who grabs him in the best bear hug she could. Nova simply smiles at the white fillies happiness to see her brother after Aurora breaks her imbrace with Rashall Nova then hugs him. Together the three of them walk back into the dining room. "All of you I would like you to meet Nova, and Aurora," says Rashall introducing his two non blood sisters.
Snow nodded in greeting, "Hello I am Snow Mark, this is my son, Midnight Sun, and this is my...sister, Dark Light. Now, where the hay is my husband. WINTER HURRY IT UP!" She called into the next room. "Hold on would ya!" A voice called from the other room. Soon Winter came through the door levitating a chair and proper utensils to set up for two ponies. "Oh hello." he said as he set everything down to be ready, "Name's Winter Warmth."
"Nice to meet you all," says Nova with a smile, Aurora glues herself to Rashall's side in an instant and doesn't say anyting but simply waves hello. Rashall lets out a slight chuckle and tells her to sit down next to him and she does so while Nova takes the seat from Winter and sits on Aurora's opposite side. "Sorry Aurora is a little shy around strangers," says Rashall.
Gaze stretched his front legs he has been playing no-stop but his bag was full of bits and that was good for him it should last for a week he grabbed the dried up stars and put them into the pouch. He put the pouch onto the his back and looked for a inn he yawned deeply, playing takes a lot of energy seeing there weren't any here he started to wonder Ponyville for any place to sleep.
"...and that's how I got my cutie mark!" Heron wing finished. The three fillies standing before her actually looked a little disappointed. She was too narcissistic to notice. "Well, uh, that was cool!" The orange pegasus in the middle said. "Yeah, thanks..." said the unicorn. The three of them slowly backed off until they could safely turn around and dash off. Heron only just now realized that they had been carrying the yellow earth pony between them, who had been sleeping. 'Why, they outta!' she suddenly thought with anger. Heron could feel a muscle throb in her forehead as she looked to the skies. It was already dark outside. "My, where does the time fly off to?" She said to herself. Looking around her, the area was totally deserted. It was a nice temperature, so she decided she would stay outside for the time being until she felt tired.
Gaze looked around the place to find this part of town was completely deserted he yawned again this time it was much louder "man if I don't find a place to sleep the ground will become my bed," he said slowly. He noticed somepony out there maybe that pony knew where a inn is, he started to walk faster until he noticed the color of the pony his eyes opened up completely and his calm look broke "Out of the whole town I had to meet her again," he thought.
As the caped pony carefully opened the old and broken door, he saw a silhouette sitting on a comfy chair by the fire. "Hello, Karl." said the silhouette. Karl took off his cape and hanged it by the clothing hook on the wall by his left. His right side of the chest, along with the arm, had been completely placed out by a crystal replacement, but without the light shining on it, it was near invisible. He slowly trotted past the silhouette, saying nothing. He trotted up the stairs leading the attic. Once he was there, he sat down by a window that allowed view over Ponyville. He sat down on a blanket he had layed out on the ground in the past, and began meditating. Souls began swirvling weakly around him, creating sounds of winds flying through leaves. As he opened his eyes, the souls disappeared, leaving him all alone. He glanced over to an axe made completely out of metal, leaning in a corner and accompanied by a small hatchet and a shortsword holstered in a leather encasing. He walked to the axe and picked it up, weighing it by his hooves. He then quickly turned around and looked at the bi-pedal figure standing at the top of the stairs, looking at him with a fatherly smile. "There's something i want you to do." He said, walking over to Karl. He picked up a picture from his pocket, and showed it. It displayed a orange pony with a teal mane. "You need to befriend this pony." He said. Karl looked at his face with a stale expression. He then picked the axe and put it on his back, put the hatchet by his side and the knife on his hind leg. He simply nodded and walked down the stairs, went to the door, put the cape back on, concealing all the weapons he had on himself, and walked out the door. He was heading for Ponyville, aiming to befriend that pony. Because one does not simply deny a order by The Clockmaker.
Heron's eyesight was clear and focused, even in the darkness. She saw Gaze clearly in the dark, and waved upon laying eyes upon him. "Hey! I know you!" She said as she flew up to him. "Yeah, your name was...Gaze. Fancy seeing you again out here."
Gaze slowly started to back up as she started to speak "he- hey Heron," Gaze said, "Yeah nice meeting you here," he stumbled on a stray rock on the road and feel onto the ground "ouch," he mumbled. He yawned again and looked at Heron it is either to sleep on the ground or ask her if he could sleep at her house, he started to sweat and he closed his eyes and said "Heron is it ok for me to sleep at your house im on the verge of falling unconscious right now,".
Heron giggled at Gaze's inert behavior. "An interesting request. Sure, I have an extra room anyways for when my cousin stays in Ponyville." She leaned over and propped Gaze up so he could stand. "Come with me, it's not too far off."
When Heron picked him up Gaze blushed and looked down at his hooves "Thank you I owe you one," Gaze said with his voice trembling and he started to follow Heron with his face almost to the ground. "I hope I don't screw things up," he thought he looked at her again and started to follow her at a quicker pace.
"Here we go." Heron trotted up a few cobblestone stairs before taking a right around a wall. Upon walking about the wall, a small brick house became visible. The door was slightly propped open, but Heron didn't pay any mind to it. She just pushed it and walked through the doorway, turning the lights on as she passed.
The dinner had progressed, Midnight had been taken to bed, and Winter had brought out the hard cider, something that Dark had a certain weakness for. "So! Mind if I tell a story!?" She asked drunkenly, "Well! You see, not only is my good friend here Snow the president of a big company, she's more than just a sister." she squealed drunkenly, "She literally created me from herself! And not only did she make me, you know what else?!" she asked, punching her cider glass foward, with Snow and Winter with a horrified look on their face from how drunk Dark was, "She's also, slao, blaa..." and she fell to the ground in a drunken slumber. "Well, I never took Dark for one fond of the drink." Snow muttered.
"Interesting story none the less," says Rashall he had declined the cider and stuck with water so to had Nova. Aurora had fallen asleep on Rashall's back and he smiled at the weight of her there, just like old times though not very old at all.
"Well, she told the truth none the less." Winter said, which almost immediately earning him a nice big whack on the back of the head.
