LSD is a video game that was released only in Japan in 1998 for the Playstation 1. The game is based off a 10 year dream journal by Hiroko Nishikawa. The game was released in 2 editions, The standard edition came with just the game, and the Limited Edition came with the game, a dream journal called Lovely Sweet Dream, a music CD called LSD And Remixes. The hard copy of the game is extremely rare to find today, since it has only been released in Japan and there is only about 50 copies of the Limited Edition (Haven't been confirmed). The game play consists of of you walking through a dream world. By walking into thing you can go to different places in the world, this is called "Linking". Some objects you walk into can activate cut scenes or go into secret places. The game play is always different, you'll encounter somethings that you've never seen before. Dreams usually last for 10 minutes or you can end the dream by falling off a cliff, getting run over by a train, or getting shot. Yes I have this. I play it when I just need to chill out, and enjoy not needing to concentrate or think, just enjoy the environment. Its quite the reasonable idea for a game to be honest, basing it on a dream journal.
I have it as a rom. This game can freak me sometimes, one time I walked into a rainbow penguin and then ended up in the violence district, I appeared right in front of these 4 chicks hanging themselves on a light post. I want more games to be like this, that focuses on dreams and going through a dream world, It's a really interesting concept.
