Leah then examined the sniper safe, she saw a sniper rifle,an SMG,a shield with what seemed like gator skin,a few empty jars and a kukri. "Ooh!" She took the rifle, kukri, the jars and shield and put it on. "Let's go guys!" Leah ran out the fort but didn't cross the bridge, she checked the water underneath it but leaned too far and fell in, resulting in a crude splash. "I'm fine! I think I got some in my mouth though...and the waters cold...I'll just go ahead..." with that she waded into the pipe in front of her with the blue sign above it.
Back in the make-shift office/interrogation room, a shadow figure uncloaked as the last mercenary left. "I'm sorry, Pauling..." the snake hissed, drawing a combat knife. "...But your little ride is over. That treasure is mine." A knife was soon plunged into the Pauling-bot's back, causing the disguise to fade. "Damn you! Oh, well... Two can play at this game." An electro-sapper was soon placed onto the teleporter... Demoman groaned, as their Sniper ran off. "Uh... Right. Which one of ya wants to help me set up a trap? I need a lookout."
The Heavy shook his head and started after the Sniper. "Perhaps another time. I will go with the girl. She seems inexperienced." Street Sweeper in hand, he disappeared into the pipe Leah had just entered.
"I will." Astasia said. "Just let me figure out watch..." She tried the dial on the side and tapped a couple of the buttons before disappearing under a cloud of red smoke. Before she could react, the teleporter the group rode in on exploded in pieces.
"I vill go with ze big guy!" The doctor followe close behind, and aimed his gun at the heavy, and pushed the lever forward. Red energy came out of the gun, hitting Mick and beginning to overheal him.
"Fascinating." Whatever the German was doing, it was working. Mick had never felt stronger or healthier in his life. And he had once suplexed a minivan. "Do you see the girl?" He called out to Leah, his voice echoing. "Sniper! Sniper girl! Where are you?"
Suddenly they could hear the use of a flamethrower and Leah was running past them with a pyro running behind her. 'HELP ME!!!" She ran past them both and turned around, pulling out her rifle.
Mick roared like a wild animal and charged at the Pyro, shotgun blazing. The person in the fireproof suit turned to run, but was slowed greatly by the multiple hits they had taken from the Street Sweeper. The Heavy quickly caught up to the wounded Pyro, and brought his fists down like a sledgehammer on the unfortunate person's head. The Pyro fell to the ground, their skull crushed to jelly. Mick turned to Leah. "Are there more?"
The Demoman ran off, first dropping down the ledge, then onto the bridge between the bases, before get started by a missed sniper rifle shot. He yelped, running back to the old RED base. White Company was a group of mercenaries, all ex-soldiers, all banned from serving in any military. They now scrambled to protect the intelligence inside their new base of operations.
Astasia heard the commotion and slowly began sneaking out of the base and across the bridge. When she was across, she uncloaked and took aim with the massive revolver, planting a large hole into the would be sniper before cloaking and taking cover again.
"No...I don't think there's more. And yes...I would like some healing...uhh...what's your name?" She stood there gasping for breath. Never had she had to run so fast from anything. "Jeez...that guy...or girl...they were just...oh god...I'm so out of breath!"
"Gunter. But you can call me, 'Doc! No!'" He laughed hysterically for a moment. "That's what my buddies from 'Nam used to call me."
"We will call you Medic. It seems to be something of a tradition." Mick reloaded his shotgun and put it away. He suspected he might need something bigger, based on the gunshots he was hearing.
While the others were speaking and whatnot, Avery had already rushed ahead. In front of her now stood a large blue colored building. Not surprisingly, it was just as run down as the red base. She made her way to the entrance and put her back to the wall, clutching her scattergun in her hands. "Maybe da case is'n dere. Couldn't hurt ta look." Just as she was about to enter, a large bull of a man stepped out from the door. She swore she'd never seen a guy that huge! Even more intimidating were the mysterious red specks on his white outfit. Thankfully the heavy had yet to see her, and was instead more focused on the recent gunshots he'd heard. Carefully, Avery tried to make her way though the doorway. She did not wanna tango with this guy, hell she wasn't even sure bullets would do anything to him. And....was that a mini gun on his back? Yep! Screw that! But just her luck, a terribly placed wrapper somehow made it's way under her feet. With a loud CRUNCH from the poorly placed garbage the man's head jerked back, his eyes glaring directly at the girl before him. "Oh crahp....uh...hey pal-" In a flash of surprising speed the behemoth snatched the scrawny girl up by the head, holding her above the ground with just one arm. A wicked smile appeared on his face as he looked over his prey. "Hello tiny baby girl...." A loud scream would erupt from Avery's lungs. Screw looking cool, this bastard was gonna kill her! In a blind panic, she'd fire a shot right into the man's shoulder. With a yelp of agony, the man threw her to the ground and clutched his bleeding arm, his eyes fixing on her once more. "Leetle baby want to play, eh? Fine!" The giant reached behind him, only to pull his mini gun in front of him. "Let us play..." He snarled as his devilish smile returned. "Medic!" Avery could be seen jogging back to where the doctor stood, her body covered with gouges and even a few bullet holes. "H-he was like a bearh! A big shaved bearh that hates people!"
The sound of a sniper rifle went off, following with The sound of metal was heard dropping to the floor as well as the sound of an even bigger corpse. She went back down the stairs. "Took care of that big behemoth for ya..." she quickly went back up and with a loud clang a mingun dropped into everyone's view. "The fat man was also holding this. Hey big guy...here." she tried to look cool by pushing the mini gun towards them with her foot but it barely moved half a foot. "It's pretty heavy..."
"Oh uh...thanks, lady." The scout replied to having her foe shot down. "Not that I couldn't of taken the guy out myse- gah!" Avery suddenly clutched at her side. It seems a bulled had found it's way into her hip. She was so busy jumping and dodging away from that crazy bastard that she didn't realize how bad he'd shot her up. "Yeah...I'll admit hereh, he got me pretty good..." She grumbled as she covered the wound with her hands in an attempt to stop the bleeding. "Damnit blood! Get back in dere! I need you!"
Mick picked up the gun and looked it over. "Russian made. About three hundred pounds." He tossed the gun at the wall, breaking both. "It is garbage." His weapon, American-made and half the weight, was much better. Despite the slower rate of fire, it was more accurate and easier to move with.
