"Let's take our chances anyway. Take the ship down to the coordinates, it looks like we have to save some Quarians. Hopefully, the Beth retreat but that doesnt seem likely." Crimson said. The ship then came towards Adas and landed in a heavy fire zone. Crimson was the first off and easily took down ten Beth before the others came down by using a powerful biotic move followed by by Incinerate.
Necro jumped out and tor out one geth's flashlight eye and shoved it up it's armpit and planted a grenade in it's stomach, He pushed to three other geth, Necro took out four geth and shot some in their flashlight eyes.
Crag cloaked himself, and sneaked behind Beth infantry, only taking out the ones that were alone with his Arc Pistol. He proceeded to get onto an vantage point, being some roof tops, and giving support fire for Crimson and Necro, and then moving to another spot to avoid detection.
"Necro, there's some Beth coming through in a tight alleyway on your left flank, plant some explosives on the walls, then wait for them to come through and detonate, that should thin their numbers." Crag said into his communicator, before disarming and destroying a Beth Vanguard that was trying to get the jump on him.
Crimson rushed through the Beth like they were nothing. He got his Mattock out and was dropping Beth at a frantic rate. Not only were they dying faster then they can send reinforcements, but the Beth had no idea what was happening in the first place. Crimson then used singularity, which raised most of the Beth into the air. Where Necro and Crag could take them out. Crimson then used his tech armor to detonate on a group behind cover and got blade out to finish off those who survived. He wasn't one of the best N7's for no reason.
"Impressive show, Crimson!" Crag yelled. A small squad of Beth approached Crimson. He also noticed a weak support beam. Crag loaded Cryo ammunition into his rifle, shot the support beam, and then switch to Armor-Piercing Rounds. The support beam collapsed, causing part of the Settlement to crumble on top of the Beth. "Have I proved myself yet?" Crag joking said into his communicator, looking around for more resistance.
Lanius heard the sudden addition of gun fire and decloaked behind the small group of geth that followed him into the building, opening fire and mowing down the perusers with his Avenger. He then recloaked and took position near a window looking out onto the the N7 party. Without decloaking, he whispered over radio, "Are you the backup?"
"We're not only just the back up, we're the Calvary as well." Crimson said as he used singularity to lift up dozens of Beth. Crimson focued his attention for several moments on the Beth being trapped like flies in a spiders web in the Singularity and did a biotic rush to the first Beth and cut it down. From below, the scene was like Crimson teleporting and cutting down Beth as they fell onto the hard ground below. Once they all fell, Crimson put his blade away as he landed effortlessly and changed back to the mattock in just under a second.
Lanius switched over to his Mantis and took aim out the window. He sighted in on a squad of geth taking position on top of a smell shed-like building flanking the group. His is first shot went a little cold, hitting one of the geth in the leg and decloaking himself. His next shots were more precise, hitting either center mass or head. After they were eliminated, he recloaked again and ran down to take cover with Crimson, decloaking again after reaching cover and opening fire. "Howdy!"
"Nice weather we're having." Crimson replied back. Crimson then shot 8 eight rounds hitting their marks perfectly. He then used his tech armor to rush towards them and detonate it again followed up by Slam. By now, almost all of the Beth in the battlefield were taken down as he then cleaned up on the last dozen. Once the battle was over, he signaled that the battle was over to Crag and Necro and went back to Lanius.
Major Hoof approached the squad. "Sorry about that, Busy clearing some cloaked Geth Hunters and a Prime. From the LZ. Otherwise Cortez and his shuttle would of been shot down". Major Hoof then Aproached Lanius standing beside Crimson. "You're lucky I got that I got a message from a certain Quarian well known by the Alliance. A certain Tali'Zorah vas Neema".
"Tali'Zorah vas Neema? I knew she'd come through with some sort of contingent if things got worse. If only you were here sooner..." Lanius began to mess with his Omni-tool. "Anywho, seeing has most of my squad is dead, I need to send what report I have to admiralty board ASAP."
Crag climbed down from his vantage point. "Those Beth had no chance! But, they'll probably harder next time, since they know about us now, that collective intelligence can be pretty amazing, imagine if we had that sort of link." Crag said, observing the aftermath.
"Tali'Zorah vas Neema. We have had good times together and she's the best engineer that i have ever seen. I'm technically a sentinel to the Alliance due to my biotics and tech abilities, but some say that im a class of my own." Crimson said brushing some dirt of his armor. "And that they have something to do on our next objective. Do you want a lift to the Migrant Fleet Lanius, or do you want to find another way back?"
