Crag went to the shuttle deck, grabbed his gear and got on. "The Genophage huh? You'd think someone would have finished the cure by now. Well, not much we can do about it right now, I suppose." Crag said, boarding the shuttle.
Crimson remained quiet on the shuttle, thinking of what could have possibly drawn the Reapers attention to Tuchanka.
As the shuttle landed and the doors opened major hoof stepped outside heading into the place meeting with Urdnot Wrex.
"Crimson! How it's good to see you again, how have you been" Wrex said as Crimson stepped off the shuttle. Crimson gave the Krogan a hoof shake as he stepped off. Wrex was much taller than Crimson was due to his physiology, but they both knew each other in the early days before the Battle of the Citadel. "I've been better, but it's good to see a friendly face while everything has gone to hell. Yourself?" Crimson asked. The Krogan then replied with "And for me as well. It's times like these that we need to stick together." They both laughed as the other squadmates arrived. "This is my current squad that im leading alongside Major Hoof. We have a Krogan, a Quarian, and three of us Equestrians. We came as soon as we could. Is there anything that seems to be in trouble?" "Yes. One thing has caused us to retaliate in the war. From what i heard, Equestria was hit the hardest and Palaven is being destoryed as we speak. The Salarians and Turians want us to help take their planets back. But we want something in return." Urdnot Wrex said. "Let me guess, a cure for the Genophage?" Crimson said. "You just read my mind." Wrex said before laughing again for a short time. "It's about high time that we no longer suffer. If they free us from the Genophage, we would happily fight for them. The Turians were reluctant at first before they agreed, but the Salarians refuse no matter what. Those pyjak's are so stubborn sometimes."
Lanius departed from the shuttle and looked out onto the Tuchanka landscape. "keelah se'lai, I hope the geth haven't turned Rannoch into this." he said, scanning what was left of the decaying planet in view.
"It might be a mess. But it's our mess, and we will try and clean it up once the Reapers are gone." Wrex responded to Lanius.
Wrex then looked at Necro. "I have several mole's in the STG available to me, and it seems that there happens to be a genophage cure in development as we speak. It's guarded on Surkesh heavily by STG operatives and the scientists that are developing this. The Dalatrass will get overthrown if she doesn't officially accept the responsibility of developing the cure. On the other note, Tuchanka has not been a target for the Reapers yet and the Clans around the planet are always fighting. Urdnot is still in control but we are stretched thin." Wrex then looked at Crimson. "There is one clan that poses the largest threat, Clan Weyrloc. They have been trying to make the genophage themselves in an abandoned hospital several hundred miles out. They have a team of Salarian scientists there, all of them are brilliant. If they were to have the cure finished, then they would kickstart what would become the Second Krogan Rebellions. Something we cannot afford to happen. Crimson, could you and your companions assist Clan Urdnot in stopping Weyrloc. If you do, then you have our support in the war." "Anything for you friend." Crimson said before getting his Mattock out and looking at his and Robins team. "Shall we head off?"
"You never know Major, remember what he told both of us last time about what the STG did with the Genophage?" Crimson said. "Huge mistake the Salarians made, hopefully it's never made again."
"Are we gonna sit here or are we gonna go kill some Weyrloc fools?" Necro asked while loading up his guns.
"Sure thing. We need to take a shuttle to the campsite, we just had it retrofitted with a stealth system similar to the Normandy. Once we're dropped off, we need to free the females and try to stop Weyrloc through a possible peacefully situation. You have the green light if they fire back."
"That might be good enough. Just remember that they are closely tied to the Blood Pack, it's founder was a member of the clan."
