"Upstairs," Nightshade said after a few minutes. "We should keep going. Take her with us. Rain'll catch up." Something felt off. She couldn't place it, but she was sure she'd felt something like it before. ****************************************************************************************************** In the short time Rose had been gone, the others had managed to collect most of the samples they needed, and were in the process of scouring the area for additional treasures. Gaston had rigged up a crude, yet functional, prosthetic arm for Olga, which the diamond dog was putting to good use carefully prying several ornate relief panels from a stone wall. It took some time, but the little vampire soon had the antivenom vaccine administered, and was on her way back with Rain.
*On the ship, someone starts sending messages outwards on all frequencies with as much power as can be spared from the Emergency Thrusters keeping the ship in orbit, asking for any assistance, unfortunately the only civilization that would be able to receive these messages would either be where the ship came from, or the Equestrian Governments on the planet Equus*
"Bet you could do for a few..." Raven grabbed a pitcher from under the counter, filling it with the snake bite brew and sliding it to Blackened. "This one's on me." She shot him a wink." ~~~~~~~ "She could bleed out," Navaja argued. "Have you seen her legs? We should try to stop that first."
"Ooh, thanks.~" He drank from the pitcher, having gotten used to the taste and had a quarter of the drink. "Yeah, that hits the spot..."
Giving Asmo a smirk, he grabbed the pitcher and began to drink quickly, downing a good half of the pitcher. He coughed lightly. "Lot of alcohol in there..." he murmured, before managing to down the rest.
(S*yay!*, thought I responded...) "Well..." He cleared his throat. "Guess I should be lucky there wasn't a 40 of vodka in there."
"Right up, Blacky.~" Raven quickly grabbed a big, damn near two liter glass bottle of hard cider, placing it in front of him. "Try this. I'll pay for it. Wanna see what you think."
They decided to stay put until Rose came back with Rain. While they waited, they learned that injured mare was called Dawn Something-or-Other (she couldn't remember), and that she had been part of a scientific expedition thirty years earlier. She didn't remember much of what had happened. Just the sentry calling out that something was coming, and then... anger. Pain. Sorrow. Hatred. "The next thing I remember," Dawn said, "Was waking up here."
Azrael nodded. "I see. So essentially, without realizing, you became an ice demon, filled with hate." Navaja sighed. "Mierda. If we had known beforehoof it could be undone..."
Nightshade shook her head. "I doubt that it can, with the others. Dawn is a recent victim. Some of these creatures haven't been ponies in over a thousand years."
