Its surprise attack met with a forceful blow from Azreal, the wraith gave a cry as it slumped to the floor with a broken neck. They waited for another attack, but it never came. They were safe for the moment. Rain was still trying to heal Galahad. Nightshade walked over and placed a hoof on her shoulder. "Stop. We both know he's dead."
"Damn it..." Navaja sighed, walking over to the group and reaching down to close Galahad's eyes. "Descansa en paz." Azrael knelt down by Galahad's body after ensuring the wraith was dead. "Time to rest, comrade. May the spirits offer safe passage into the afterlife. Lest they answer to me." ~~~~~~~~ Raven quickly tuned a ham radio to the frequency where she picked up the distress signal. She spoke into it, "Space friends! If you're still alive, give us your exact location, and I'll send a rescue pony your way!"
Nightshade looked at the melting wraiths, and a horrible thought occurred to her. "Az. you need to take his soul..." "What?!" Rain protested, horrified. "...before something else can."
Azrael looked at her seriously. "Nightshade. There's no guarantee his soul would leave my body the same as it entered. It could even be broken down entirely."
Maya suddenly swung open the door to the bar, looking positively exhausted, with tired eyes and a disheveled mane. "Holy crap," she said, exasperated. "That kid sure is something."
Black suddenly turned over to see a fatigued Maya. "Hey Maya," he said as she came in. "Uh... You okay?"
"Good question," Raven asked, arching an eyebrow. "Define okay," Maya requested, staggering to the bar. "Little dude had a magic spaz attack, hit me with like twenty books, now Dusty needs to be alone with him to calm it down." Asmo cackled. "Hehe. Kids."
Nightshade frowned. "Then what do we do? This... thing... whatever it is, steals and corrupts souls. I don't want that happening to him."
"Ooh..." he responded. "Sounds really stressful. Gotta commend you both for being able to deal with the kid the best you can."
Azrael sighed. "...I can guide him myself. But we'll need to cut the adventure short. And you will need to keep my body safe." ~~~~~~ "There's a little bag of grass under your seat," Maya said plainly, sitting down at the bar by Blackened. "Gimme."
"Uh..." He got up from the seat and pulled out the bag of weed. "Oh wow,~" he remarked, before passing it over to Maya.
Maya grabbed Asmo, shoved her hoof into his throat and pulled out a little, red water pipe. Asmo coughed and gagged when it was over, stepping away. "Ow, you crazy c-... Grr..." Raven giggled. "Nice one, Mom."
Blackened had seen enough weird occurrences from his social circle, so he could barely even muster apathy from Asmo's ability to hold large objects in his mouth. Instead, he was pre-occupied with wanting to try out the weed. "Sweet.~"
"Now if you've got the skill, you can pack it into the bowl, Black dude." Maya set the water pipe down on the bar. Raven, meanwhile, waited to hear a response. @Lord Architect
"Check behind your ear," Raven butted in. "Hey, mom. How hard does the kid throw?" "Just a little." Maya pulled back her lip, showing one of her back, right teeth had been knocked loose. Raven winced. "Ouch! You earned that rip..."
He decided to reach behind his ear, pulling out an actual grinder. "Everything we need is behind our ears..." he commented, "but does that include happiness?" Suddenly, he visibly cringed at the sight of Maya's loose tooth, putting the grinder on the bar.
"For me it does!" Asmo scraped a little, red splotch from behind his ear. "Blood of my enemies!" Maya sighed and facehoofed. "Asmo, please."
