Raven caught his hoof and used the momentum to hurl him upwards, then darted up in an effort to uppercut him.
The hoof connected and he then flipped over and began to fall to the ground, landing on his back. "F*yay!*..." he grunted.
"Get ready to get wrecked, son!" Raven dashed down towards him, flipping at the last second, going for a flashy, Swanton Bomb-esque kind of attack. ~~~~~~~~~ "I will be back, Rain!" Navaja led the Assassins off to brief them on the situation somewhere more quiet. Dusty and Maya walked out to observe the brawls that were happening. Maya had managed to find herself a leather sheath in her short time inside, keeping the sword at her side by her saddlebags. "They're really going at it," Maya commented.
Silver, who had walked out with her, nodded. "She fights well for one her age. But something is off. Am I correct in assuming she was trained in a pegasus fighting style?"
"Gotcha.~" Similar to her, he jumped up with his wings and began to pull off the same kind of attack.
"You're right..." he responded as he slowly got up. "Wonder who could provide a real challenge... I mean, aside from Az."
"You could try Maya," Raven suggested. "Buuuuuut... she'd prob'ly break your face." She smirked. "You just ain't stallion enough to handle all that mare."
*The Council seemed to become annoyed, before sitting down in midair and started concentrating and acting as though they were using remote controls for remote control cars, making gestures in the air.*
Silver nodded. "Perhaps now would be a good time to start." He stepped forward, closer to the two. "Raven. Use your wing claws. Strike for the pressure points. If you are as fast as my daughter claims, there will be little he can do to defend." He took a step back. "Both of you. Two minutes, no holds barred. Do not be afraid to hurt each other. Training injuries are easily healed." He glanced at Maya and Nightshade. "Your instinct, I imagine, will be to protect her if she begins to falter. Do not. Success or failure in training must be hers alone." Nightshade frowned. "Dad, I swear to Faust if she gets hurt..."
"Hold on," Raven said. "If I'mma go no holds barred, I need somepony with a kickable face. Any chance you could go grab Asmo?" "That's not a bad idea," Maya agreed. "And since Blacky's a pegasus, maybe I can take him aside and teach him some stuff while Rave beats on Asmo."
Nightshade nodded, rising into the air to look for the abomination. She spotted him in the crowd some distance away, and dashed into the tent to grab an empty cider bottle, which she bounced off the back of his head with unerring aim. "Hey! Over here!" ************************************************************************************************* Silver nodded. "A fine idea. Be sure to drill him on escape techniques. I suspect it may come up tomorrow."
