"Good." Maya sighed. "Got info on the two written down in the bar, if the papers survived. First one is the pony who brought Azzy back, forced him to do all those horrible things. The second..." She stopped, hesitant to talk about this one.
"Guess that depends how you look at it. He's a catbird, hiding out in the Crystal Empire. He, uhh... Buck it." She went on to describe, very matter-of-factly, the details of what was discussed in the Discord server. "The other four died less then five minutes after I came to. This one got away. Just managed to figure out where he is, fifteen years later... I've got kids now. I can't go off on a roaring rampage of revenge, but he needs to get what's coming to him. I'm sending Asmo with 'cause he'll know the most bucked up way to toy with him before it's done."
Maya nodded. "He'd try if he thought you were after him. But he had to use tranquilizer on me, so he can't be too tough."
Nightshade nodded. "Then I think you should tell her what you're planning. You want this bastard to suffer. Nopony can make him suffer like I can. But I will not break my promise without her blessing."
"Alright... buck, you're right." She managed to stand back up, having gained back enough control of her hooves. She took the pipe back from Nightshade, studied it for a moment, then stuffed it back under her wing. "Let's go."
Nightshade followed her back to where Raven was waiting, and explained the situation. When she was finished, she looked at Raven almost pleadingly. "I know I promised you I wouldn't kill anypony anymore. But... I really, really, really want to do this."
Raven looked at her seriously, after a while of clear unease at the thought of him. "You promised you wouldn't kill. Doesn't count if the punk b***h doesn't have a soul. Make it hurt, babe. For what he did to my mom, and the filly that never got to be born."
Nightshade nodded. "I'll head out first thing in the morning with Asmo. Rose will go with Az, and we should have this all wrapped up by dinnertime tomorrow." She glanced at the ruined bar. "Speaking of dinner, I'm starving, I'm tired, and I need a shower. You wanna stay at my place tonight? Maya, you guys are all welcome, too. The dojo's pretty big, so I could fit a few beds in there if I need to."
Raven nodded. "I'd love to." Maya shrugged. "Sure. We're gonna have Moondust sent home first, though. Mind if I spar with Rave a little? Heard Asshat helped her learn some bat things." Asmo popped his head in through the door. "Heard my name! What the buck smells like like DMT?"
Nightshade grinned. "Alright." She turned around and shouted to everypony still hanging around. "Party at my place! Ponyville dojo!"
"Oh, buck yeah!" Asmo pranced in place a little. "Gonna need it after all that snake bull*squee!*!" Dusty woke up, grumbled and walked over to the bar. "A party..?" Azrael snapped himself out of his stoop for the moment, walking on over to Nightshade. "When do we head off?" "Gotta get the kid first," Maya said. "Me and Dusty'll meet you there later." Navaja sighed. He couldn't attend. His guild was in shambles after the battle. They needed all the help they could get, and judging by one of the bodies he came across, they needed a new grand master.
Selena: (finishing what she was doing, and walking up to Dusty and Maya) Excuse me if I'm interrupting something but, before they left Grand-dad's friends said that there is some plinth nearby that's really important. Other than that, if there is anything that came from my notebook that I missed, still laying around, please light it on fire. I gotta leave, so I can't go looking for it all.
