Azrael did his blackout teleport thing again to teleport out of the bar. Asmo rolled his eyes. "Showoff."
Asmo walked out and hopped in her car. "Let's wreck some *squee!*, Sabe!" One more turn, and it would surely be time for Maya to get back to it.
"TO VICTORY!!" Saber held up her hoof out the window, and stomped the gas, sending the car forward, and the tires burnin.
The next morning, Maya and Dusty got back to it. Maya opened up the door, set the jukebox to play some classic rock, and took her place behind the counter. Dusty, meanwhile, levitated a mop and bucket from upstairs and started cleaning the floor.
Zeran and Etheran both trotted in, looking around. "I see no one else is here yet" Etheran murmured, then shrugged and sat down
***ELSEWHERE*** Silver walked into the small blacksmith shop and headed for the forge. Pushing aside piles of empty bottles, he eventually found the pony he was looking for asleep on the floor. "Moon, wake up. You fell asleep at work again." Moon Shine, a Unicorn mare of about forty, rolled over and got slowly to her hooves. "Hey, Sil. What time is it?" "Almost nine. Is Match home?" "No, he's in Manehatten with Flint. You hungry?" "I could eat." "Let's go upstairs. I'll make omelets." Silver followed Moon upstairs into the apartment she shared with her husband, Match Lock. "About that thing we talked about... can you build it?" "Yes, but there're a few problems. We'll talk about it after we eat."
Saber woke up in her car with a groan. She looked around, but the windows were too dusty to see anything. "Hm?" She got out, and smiled when she remembered what happened. Saber had been doing donuts in a field all night.
"Nah. If Im outta gas, I have a can in the trunk." Saber went, and turned her key. Nothin. "Ok, yeah. Battery is dead."
"Ow.." "That was a bit bright." She rubbed her eyes, and put the battery in after waiting. She used the can of gas, and started the car. "Thanks Arch. Time to go get Asmo. See you in the bar today?"
